The shop I went to for years (finally moved away two months ago) used soft wax on my ears for years. Yes, if they re-did an area, or sometimes (rarely) even on the first time I would really feel the skin being taken off, and I'd bleed a little on rare occasions. But they did a good job. Now that I'm looking for a self-care kit, I'm going to try hard-wax. Thank you.
Amazing tutorial! Thank you for sharing your passion and all your experience. And thank you for keeping it human and being excited about all the hair pulled out.
I’ve been a licensed esthetician for almost 5 years and I only just waxed someone’s ears for the first time. That’s the one place I haven’t done before, so I was wicked nervous. I wish I saw this video sooner, but now I know 😅
What got me here is that the hair on the outer rib of my ear grows faster than anything else. How long does this usually last before repeating? While the camera was focusing on the wax, all I could focus on were the eyes. Beautiful!
Great video. I have a question. Does the blonde vellus hair after waxing stay the same or does it change to terminal hair? HOW OFTEN SHOULD THE TREATMENT BE REPEATED?
Great video. I have a question. Someone told me the more you wax (ears/nose) the slower the hairs grow because they're being pulled at the bulb. Is that true?
I never focus on temperature as that will vary greatly depending on multiple factors. Instead, focus on consistency which should move slowly, like honey or molasses.
Thank you so much for your support! Yes, At Home Waxers can purchase either Signature Series or Experiemental Series. The only difference between each Series is the color, we just wanted to give you options. I'm using Signature Series in this video.
Let me know... One day, my friend forced me to wax the ear's hair though I have very few hairs. I did it for 1st time . Just after the first waxing, Does those hair grow longer than before..?? Or, it will grow of same length as before..?? And I have waxed only one time. Not more than that.
It acts like candle wax, meaning the way it cools and will encompass whatever it covers. But no, you can't use candle wax to wax yourself. The properties are very different.
Asking a question on this old video, doesn't seem like the kind of thing you could easily do yourself. If you can maybe address that and demo it in a future video.
I have the same problem. Use an q tip and put wax on the cotton end then place it only 1cm into your ear canal (not far in) leave it for 3 minutes then yank it out
WhT do you use post wax on clients?? Oil , aloe Vera gel etc?? And when you prep and clean the skin do you use powder after when using hard wax?? Thanks 😊

The color of the hair will not change with waxing. I suggest waxing every 3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle.
