The shop I went to for years (finally moved away two months ago) used soft wax on my ears for years. Yes, if they re-did an area, or sometimes (rarely) even on the first time I would really feel the skin being taken off, and I'd bleed a little on rare occasions. But they did a good job.
Now that I'm looking for a self-care kit, I'm going to try hard-wax. Thank you.

What got me here is that the hair on the outer rib of my ear grows faster than anything else. How long does this usually last before repeating?

The color of the hair will not change with waxing. I suggest waxing every 3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle.

    • @hissnkittenwaxing

I never focus on temperature as that will vary greatly depending on multiple factors. Instead, focus on consistency which should move slowly, like honey or molasses.
