I’m on day 5 not shaving my underarms and I already have 2-3 times the growth I see here! I’m so excited to start waxing and not have to shave my 5 o’clock underarm shadow on the daily
I just used my mermaid wax to my underarms and it was quick and relatively painless! The quality of the wax allows for easy use for beginners like myself. And her video helped me save so much time and calmed my nerves!

Waxing my own for about 4 mos now. I've found that the CREASE is the most painful!! I have found when I 'split' my pits, and do a HORIZONTAL section across entire pit, about an inch thick and pull in opposite direction it really cuts down on pain. Then I proceed exactly how she explains. Just something about that middle. I also hold the door frame of my bathroom with my hand that's up in the air for tension, looking like a real goober, but it works. I use cornstarch. Really NOT painful, I find my shins way worse, haha!
Just started waxing my own armpits!!!!!!!! Wish I watched your videos before doing it my first time but it’s ok I’m learning more now watching you . Thank you !

Just like this person above commented. When someone else does it for you, they'll pull the strip unexpectedly (unless they count, but that's very unlikely of course). When you're doing this yourself, you're in full control of what you're doing so you know when you're going to pull off your own strip. I feel like anticipating the pain worsens it for some reason.
Self waxing painful for beginners but after 3 + it's be easy before appl powder after apply oil to reomove all waste , use pearl wax,( like jeva, or medulla)
I did this yesterday myself and it hurt less than going to the salon. Never using soft wax again. I also did my own Brazilian a week before after watching your vid. And it was fine. I’m a regular armpit waxer. So much so that i don’t have much armpit hair anymore and only use the veet wax strips to maintain now 😂 literally only need one strip for each armpit.
Oh my goodness I will never go back to shaving under my arms, when I used to shave I had to shave every couple of days and when it grew back it was obvious the moment it started growing and it is not a joke that when you wax it grows back thinner because now it can get actually long yet you can't see it unless you're up close so if I'm standing in front of the mirror with my arms up you can't even tell and if you get close you will see that it's like a quarter of an inch 😅👏👏

I recommend waxing every 3-4 weeks! If you wax consistantly, less hair will grow back each time and the hair will come back softer and finer so it's much easier to manage. I recommend Mermaid Wax!
Question, what is that powder applied and what's it for? Also I was under the impression that your not suppose to wax the same area twice? Is it safe to do so?
The powder she applied was probably normal talcom powder or baby powder to dry up the area since it gets sweaty. And you're not supposed to wax the same area twice if you're using soft wax (the one with paper strips) because it pulls on your skin. Waxing twice with hard wax is fine because it doesn't pull the skin, it only pulls the hair.
