    Just totally phenomenal. Svetlana makes it look so easy, but I know it takes years and years of practise, practise, practise and that special vision to be able to put paint just where you want it. It is a very special talent.

      +Graeme Stevenson (Colour in Your Life) I do tell people! I'm from Canada on the beautiful Westcoast of British Columbia. .so much inspiration here from the ocean mountains and the rainforest. .
      you should come here ;)

    • @ColourinyourlifeAu
      @ColourinyourlifeAu  8 років тому

      +Blissfulthings wonderful, we would love to come to Canada and film but I dont think folks realize what it takes to do this, we charge the Artist a fee to be on the show for a start, so unless people are very serious about their careers they mostly dont do this. All up just to get these shows done over the last 5 years has costs around 1.7 million dollars, Thats right, they just dont appear from no where, so if there were enough Artists in Canada that wanted to be part of our growing network and they want to spend the money we would come. Its 6K US, so I dont think we will be in Canada in the near future, Thanks again any way, Graeme

    Yes, it’s a beautiful piece of work. Some paint loose, some paint tight, and they are all beautiful. There is no such thing as “ it should be this way ”. There is only your way. I just wish I could create beautiful paintings as shown in Colour in Your Life.

      +lansing street blues you mean you don't use algebra and calculus every single day?? hahahha I hear you. God I think of all the wasted hours and stress of trying to learn rubbish only scientists need to know

      +lansing street blues I have to learn reading, math, chemistry, history, English, Biology and many many more subjects! Art school was extended education. after normal school. I have to attend 2 schools at the same time. It was insane. I had no childhood! I am having rewards now, but at what costs? :-)

      +Vella Pulveris I would have never put myself through that pressure if I was self taught aspesialy in early childhood. So it may be just what some of us needed. Extream pressure and heat turns ordinary rocks into diamonds! I like that thought.

    I really love and have enjoyed this and all of the watercolor artists and other medium artists as well. I was hoping maybe you would consider doing a watercolor (any medium really) student series. Maybe visit some notable (and/or non traditional schools), make it a competition within each school you visit and a small handful of students selected by their classmates would earn the chance to reviewed like you have done with the professional artists. I have always been fascinated to see the progress in of artists over the years and see their work transform from student to art school graduate, and the working artist. It's fascinating to see or really be able to follow an artist journey. Just a thought. I've been a subscriber for a long time now and always look forward to a notification from UA-cam letting me know you have posted a new video. Thanks for all the time and hard work to everyone who makes these videos possible, take care!

      +Erin S. Thanks for your comments Erin, but unfortunately we simply cant afford to do things like that . The Artist we film pay to be on the show and we have such a tight budget it makes it impossible to do anything else except what we do now, we get no support from any where else, Graeme
