- Today we head down for a quick gold mining trip to Slab Hut creek gold fossicking area on New Zealands west coast, this is arguably one of if not the most popular or at least most hammered fossicking area in New Zealand, with holes aboslutetly everywhere dug by other gold prospecters. But we managed to locate a good deposit that had yet to be mined and got a very good gold strike in the end for the amount of digging we did!
Make sure to go and check out Jades Adventures and Gold Digger NZ's channels if you havent already :) !

Thanks bro! It is pretty stunning out here especially up the rivers on the coast, part of the reason why we love it so much, just getting out there in nature while on the gold!
Just letting you know your latest video cant be commented on. 👍👍
Thanks bro, yeah it’s stupid it auto disabled the comments because the video contained “Children”…… I’m going to have to re shoot it and I guess not sound like a child lmao. Should have it up again tommorow.
Nice haul, what did that end up weighing ? I’m guessing 1.325 👌
Thanks bro. Ended up at 0.82 looked like a lot more but the gold is very flat and flaky here so looks like tons in the pan but weighs little. Thanks for watching :).
🤑🤑🤑
Probably shouldn't show your dog at DOC sites mate.Plenty of signs everywhere
Oops just looked it up and didn't even realize you weren't aloud dogs there, as we have seen others with them before there and didn't see any signs. Thanks so letting us know.
Should be painted into a safety pan no one's pan and skills are that good
I’m not quite sure what you mean bro? Do you mean it’s not possible to be that good at panning?
@@TheSluicers and you always go through your tailings two and three times to collect all your gold cuz no one's perfect, and you can never predict water velocity in any panning skills, if there's such great concentrates why pay them right back into the river that don't make sense to me anyways
@@christophersmith8306 I definitely understand where you coming from but In terms of gold lost out the sluice it’s probably at most 1% and the time it takes to go back through them it’s so much easier just to dig more, and we do test pan them every here and there and never any gold. When panning the final cleanup as you saw I take my time and if it was a more blacksand heavy area or more cons I would probably take them home, but I can confidently say I wouldn’t have lost more then a spec when panning that cleanup. Cheers
