She knows what is going on. She was shocked and the tears were there from getting caught, not for being "used". She doesn't want to give information to you because it is all going to lead back to her. She has been dealing with these people for 10 years. I think you just meet the Master Manipulator and her name is Eileen. I hope they are all held accountable and put, as the scammers say, "behind the bars". Thank you guys for doing what you are doing. I get at least 4 of those robo calls daily so it's bs that she didn't know about them

It hurts me to watch unskilled people interrogate someone. Its like watching a helpless animal drown. I love the series, appreciate what you do helping to catch scammers...but good lord call the cops or stop believing everyone is innocent & giving them all your info/details of your plots. Would you give an Indian scammer the same luxury of this encounter?

I just watched you guys make friends with this "unfortunate woman" who has paid her rent with my grandma's money for 10 years and tbh I don't care if she is either criminally evil or criminally stupid. If you have a disorder I feel that responsibility falls onto your family members or the closest people to you. In a situation like this, you get the police to investigate fully. You don't go off on whatever testimony she makes because she might be a master liar and manipulator.

I appreciate what you guys do. If I can give an advise it will be, DON'T BE TOO EMOTIONAL when these little rats pretend to know nothing about the scammers. They are the scammers, they're part of it, they're doing it for living. Even if her or his job is to pick up a box, they should be in jail. I really hope you guys will get the police involved.
I don't know what to think here. She didn't seem at all shocked that her business was being used in this way. I run a business and if I learned someone was doing this through my business, I'd be calling the police right there on the spot myself and taking all of the evidence you have to them. I certainly wouldn't be going back home to take a breather. She also has another LLC under her name with the same job title of ''Creative Director''. Maybe to be able to vary the company names given to victims. Who knows? I don't think she's going to help out here. If she says anything going forward, it's all going to be what her attorney is telling her to say.
Calling the police right away is the worst thing you could do. Even if I was completely ignorant of what was happening (which I don't really believe here), the first call I'd make is to an attorney. Ignorance doesn't mean she cannot be prosecuted.
She has a mask on and a visor covering the top of her face. She pulls down the mask when TM suggests she’s not guilty. She was too busy to talk and had to go. Again, after TM suggests she’s not guilty she has time for a sit down. This “lady” is a thieving POS liar.
Also she seems to have an attorney on speed dial but didn't bother to consult them before agreeing to sell this call centre what would actually be financial services. According to her it is the call centre both making the sales and providing the services she is apparently providing transaction services. Unless the US is unlike pretty much every other country offering services as a financial intermediary requires a whole hell of a lot of compliance requirements to be granted a licence as any attorney looking at this proposed deal would have no doubt told her. This being a perfect example of exactly why businesses providing such services are subject to greater oversight and audits to ensure they have the proper systems and procedures in place to detect abuse of their services for criminal activity.

Same way cops try to make a deal with drug smugglers to save themselves by giving away the bigger fishes information/setting them up. The fear of protecting themselves when the pressure is applied is the only way to make these people crack and actually help.
The federal "RICO" and "Federal Charges" and "Money Laundering Charges" should be used more often. Because that's basically what they are going to face.

I believe she knows, any decent human being would of let you see the remaining packages in actually disgust of what was told to her and that you provided some evidence of a cheque , I would of that's for sure, I would of sat and opened the parcels and given you the cheque with the name back, she took it !!! I thought she was a terrible actor. I'm 99.9% site she was lying, and the Trilogy Media crew need to take an "interrogation" course so they don't reveal vital information about what they are doing to a potential liar. They also need to be a lot less trusting. I know it's hard to see things in the moment, but training in these situations would help them recognise when they themselves are being had.
First of all, if she was lying, she took those remaining checks back to the office and immediately laundered them! The second thing...I find your episodes quite entertaining, but at the end of almost all of them I find myself wondering "OK, now what has actually been accomplished here?" 1) You confront a mule. 2) Mule lies. 3) You go home. So?

Understanding that you’re relatively new into this, the fact you’re constantly revealing you have a mole isn’t great, and I’ve read this on numerous other videos but one of you need to take the lead, you’re both talking together and over each other, firing out questions, this is causing confusion and putting your mules under pressure which will lead to false information as they are scared, you guys reacted calm and professional and they will mirror your behaviour. Great work, these guys have been work without fear of reprisals, with you out there they never know when you are going to pop up. Keep it up, grow and evolve.

i was almost until she mentioned going to them when finding out the group she had been using to make her app were using an external group i was like ok that makes little sense from the standpoint of a company involved in making any game even a small app one as that takes people that 1 know what they are doing and 2 the people funding the game know about everything from start to finish and have final say on all things related to it.

Should have had the cops catch her depositing it into her bank account. I thought this was going to go a bit deeper when a real check was involved after a previous episode had a cop saying there was no victim. I agree with everyone saying she was lying. She flipped to the oblivious/ignorant script so quickly, saying she didn't know anything even before the question was fully asked. You guys gotta learn how to give them more rope to hang themselves instead of giving them doors to escape. I am hoping there was enough "info exchanged" to follow up on.
There still is no victim since she never cashed the check and nobody lost any money. Then again, everything I have seen online seems to suggest there doesn't need to be a victim and simply attempting criminal fraud can be prosecuted.
I think the problem is there is no way to prove the people receiving the package are in on the scam unless they outright admit to and fraud requires intent. The only people they can prove are engaging in fraud are the people in the call centers. But obviously they can't do anything about them because they are in India.
They would need to have like texts or emails from the mule showing they are aware of the scam. I think the police need a victim in order to file a police report, but at the end of the day they still wouldn't be able to do anything about the mule, it would just mean there is a record on file of the money being stolen.
Then again, I am no lawyer. That is just my understanding of the situation.

I def think this could be a Netflix series, but they probably would need to bring someone in for the confrontation parts who’s more skilled in questioning/interrogation so they can steer the questioning in a way that’s gets more answers, catches them in more lies, and spots the lies. They sometimes tip their hands early and give the people outs. Their storytelling is super on point and compelling and they are brave for getting into these situations though.

Every video I see of these guys, all they do is come 200 percent completely clean to the people and tell them EVERYTHING they know and then say "we are UA-cam film makers" so no fucking body respects them or fears them.
They ask a question and if they don't get an answer on 2.2 seconds they both start talking again and giving them different options of house to get a different story. They don't know what it means to ask and then stfu and wait as long as it takes. The golden rule "the person who speaks first, loses" had never been told to these guys.
I swear I live in West LA closer to these guys and I feel like finding them and sitting down with them and teaching them how to interrogate people without looking so childish. They are young kids dealing with 30 and 40+ year old criminals who chew them up and spit them out. 🤣
