Troubleshooting a 5 HP Submersible Irrigation Pump. McDonald Motor Gould Pump Combo.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing a 5 horse power submersible irrigation pump that was not performing. See some oscilloscope data at the end of the video.
I didn't have a camera with me for the onsite diagnosis, but that would have been great footage to see the lab scope data before and after. I just had an amp clamp with me when I pulled the pump, but would have been nice to see exactly what was going on.
The failure was due to a combination of minor issues that should have been corrected. The pump and motor was fine after a good service. Performance was restored by correcting the steps shown in the video.

The more a guy looks, the more issues he found! The pump is kicking ass, its a performer. Runs 25 rotors over 500 feet away.
