I’m not a very technical sort of person but this guy explained it so smoothly even I could understand, thank you for taking the time to explain in detail and then uploading this video, it’s great when you are struggling with something and along comes someone to point you in the correct direction…INVALUABLE !
This is likely THE best instructional video I've ever watched! You've made the understanding of how a well is constructed and functions so dummy proof that THIS dummy truly understands. Our well needs to be replaced, and I knew nothing about them before watching your video. Now I will have confidence when dealing with the installer about the entire process. Thank you!
Thankyou so much for the explanation, my pump is short cycling and I don’t see a check valve in the system, I’ll be sure to add 1 to the incoming piping (from the pump) and see if that cures the issue.
Well there, buddy I bought a house two years ago. I have a well most people are telling me it’s an artesian type of well. I don’t have that type of pump going down a pipe. My pump is mounted to my bladder tank in my basement so any questions or Otherwise I found my overflow pipe. I pushed a couple of rocks off the side of my driveway and I pulled the two pipes that were split together that were feeding my hand dug man-made pond in my front yard now my driveway is washed out. it’s a mud pit. It’s a mess Hasn’t rained for days hasn’t rained for weeks. It hasn’t rained in last couple months. We been in a drought but this little bit of rain that we’ve gotten saturated me to believe I don’t have the best ground material to whip the water off the surface for another story before I continue excavation on the side in the edge of my driveway, where I could potentially mess my wall up or break it I’m wondering if there is another solution that you know of that I’ve been researching other than ground penetrating radar, which is very very expensive. There’s another method or you could poke a ground wire into the ground and you could connect it to your weld pump wire and then you could go outside and, the pump wire if the pump was well itself I don’t have that sort of situation and not a single person out of 30 3233 calls never mention that you could possibly stick a wire through the overflow pipe as long as there’s not a blockage and it hits your head or it connects into the well then you’ll be able to locate it with a ground locatingmachine what they’re called but it’s similar to like I don’t know gosh G metal detecting why do you guys or plumbers do small
We just moved into a house with a 3 wire pump. Can I keep one leg hot all the time on the L1 or L2 so I can power an outlet for a heat lamp? The previous owner used an extension cord in the winter, but I'd like to use the 110VAC outlet that was installed.

Why do you need two check valves? This is redundant.
