    Thank you for this video. I was so hoping you would make one showing how you use your Neo's. It's just fascinating to me. I'm 62 but you're never to old to start learning something new.😁 Your background is just beautiful!! I definitely will be buying the Neo's. Have a blessed day K and stay safe. 😊❤

    Hi K. That is gorgeous! Thank you for walking us how to use NC2. I have a set of them, but I am so intimidated by them that they sit in their container untouched. I will try your method and hope for the best! Thanks for the guidance.

    Thank you for this video. I recently acquired the full set of Neocolor II and really love them. However, I tend to use them too heavily and they over power the pictures I spent so much time coloring. Please keep the tutorials coming. This month I am coloring in my Creative Haven coloring books. I dedicate each month to a different artist so this month I am focusing on two, which areTheresa Goodrich and Marty Noble. Next month I’m continuing with Creative Haven. That time I will be only be coloring in my Marjorie Sarnat coloring books. Yes, I have that many of hers. I’m using my Prismacolors because I’ve found that they perform the best on Creative Haven paper. I’m also enjoying my new Sparkle Pop and Krazy Pop gel pens.

    Love your videos, I have learned some new tricks and products I'd like to add to my collection. My other hobby is photography. I was notice your video is on the blue side. Depending on your equipment you might want to check your white balance setting (WB). Hopefully this doesn't offend.

      Thanks for watching and commenting Janet. Yes, looking back at the video I can see it’s on the blue side, I think I might have it fixed for the more recent videos but I will check camera settings too. Thanks for letting me know, and happy colouring!

    I did enjoy this video. I recently purchased the 15 set of NEOCOLOR ll and I used a 1 solid color for a background in Seasons by Hanna Karlzon. I now know that I need to add the background color first, even though I didn't have a problem. The only problem I did have is a have a lot of color down on the lower half of the picture and I don't think there is away too fix it. I am not sure if I used too much of the crayon before I used the water or vice versa. It was only my first experience so hopefully I will get better. I don't have this Kerby Rosanes coloring book yet, and I noticed its not too expensive at all. I have buying way too many coloring books that I haven't even colored in yet. I hope you show this picture when completed.

    • @ColouringwithK
      @ColouringwithK  4 роки тому

      Hi there, thanks for watching and for your comment. You get used to the crayons as you use them more and more, that’s what I found. The Worlds within Worlds book is well worth buying, one of my favourites. My finished picture is shown in my June completed pictures if you would like to have a look on my channel. Best wishes.

    • @ColouringwithK
      @ColouringwithK  3 роки тому

      I don’t sharpen them but some people do as they are quite expensive. try to keep turning the crayon as you put it down so it remains as pointy as possible. Thanks for watching!

    I have 15 neocolour on the way to try, but basically if you have Derwent Inktense what is the real difference?

    • @ColouringwithK
      @ColouringwithK  3 роки тому

      With Neocolor ii you can reactivate the paint once it’s down and dry, with water but you can’t do that with Inktense. So the Neo’s work like watercolour but the Inktense doesn’t.

      @@ColouringwithK A French channel suggested the Lyra Aquacolor which are roughly 45 euros for a 48 set. They are supposed to be almost as good, so I'll probably try them at some point. Otherwise, a 20€ set of watercolour could probably do the same thing, just the technique would be different.
