I have been a macro photographer for a good part of my life, and I have been using several native macro lenses but never a Laowa, so 3 days ago, I went to B&H and purchased a 24mm f/14 probe for my R5. And boy, I am impressed 🤩.
It's stunning how wide at such closeness. I'm in love with this out of the ordinary looking glass.

I saw this first on an Instagram post except they tried to tell us that it "shoots the lens like a bullet" and the barrel is for shooting a small lens, anyone with any basic knowledge of anything can tell that's bullshit, I assumed the footage was renders but stumbling across this was pretty cool.
That was just and interesting way to promote lens . I don't think anyone even consider that shooting real thing

Hope Laowa makes more lenses for Olympus, as it's a great combination esp. with Olympus's built in stacking functions. More and more biological and nature photographers are tired of carrying around all the heavy full frame gear.

That cut at 2:01 is super weird. The green M&M vanishes instantly. Is this objective able to vaporize or teleport objects?

I went frame by frame. It looks like they timelapsed it and the M&Ms fell during the process. The green M&M fell down and to the left slightly.
Or maybe they combine 2 shoots from 2 different lenses.🤔

Looks like the Solothurn S18/100/ Panzerbüchse, which was mounted on the l3/33. It's ap ammo with a max penetration of around 20mm :)
