Here's a romantic-classical style arrangement of "Kass' Theme" from Nintendo's smash hit, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For this cover, I was inspired by "Liebesleid" by 1930s composer Fritz Kreisler.
I employed the pianistic talents of my friend David Russell for this one. He beautifully brought out the subtleties and majesty that I intended for this arrangement.
I rarely shoot outdoors since I know how stressful it can be (see the very end of the video) but I am so happy with how this video came out!

Kass music always put a smile on my face as I heard it. Wondering around and suddenly you hear his accordion playing in the distance and you just have that moment of "My buddy!"
It's a concertina, but similar instruments.
This is so ridiculously pretty! I love how you guys subtly play around with the time, it really makes it sound like you two are in the same room together, which is exactly what an arrangement like this needs. Excellent job, as ever

All of the virtuosic elaborations on this theme in the piano were impressive, I would have loved to bring them out a little bit more so that the violin and piano were on more equal terms dynamically. I agree with Ace's comment that some of the piano elaborations slightly disruptive to the 'chill' factor, but they do add interest and energy to the arrangement convincingly. I'm not sure whether I'd rather it to be a virtuosic piece of chamber music, or a solo violin work with a virtuosic accompaniment!
So nice to hear you work in this traditional classical format! And I'm always going to be a big fan of ending pieces on the 9th :)

I cannot express how much I love this! And that segue into Song of Storms, brilliant! This style of music is one of my favorites and is absolutely perfect for Kass' Theme, which also happens to be perhaps my favorite song from BOTW. And as always, it's always a treasure to see and hear your acoustic violin.

It was cool to hear this on traditional instruments rather than the accordion and it really reminds me of the song feed the birds from Mary Poppins.

Killer arrangement to both of you. I am not 100% familiar with the source, so I don't know if all the subtle nods to other Zelda tracks are from the source or if you all added them, but they work either way. The simplicity of the piano + violin really lets both of you show off your skill of your instrument. I think the piano could have a bit more prominence in your mix. Right now its very subdued and the violin almost sits on top of it, and there is so much cool interplay going on between the two. My one other note is that at times the piano flourishes get a bit too busy/hectic and I feel like it takes away from the chillness of the piece. Its only a couple of moments, and this is definitely a super subjective thing, but I find, especially for this song, less is more. My favorite moments are the more sparse, quiet sections, because they instantly bring me back to my time in BotW when I would hear Kass playing in the distance.

I have no idea exactly why, but hearing the violin version of this song reminded me of Merry Go Round of Life from Howl's Moving Castle (song by Joe Hisaishi)

String Player Gamer, could you maybe do something with the Captain Toad music. It has some very hypening (is that a word?) music pieces, such as the music that plays during the credits. I think that would sound soo good on violin :) :)
