Notes from Daniel Romberger about this arrangement:
Kass's Theme is one of the very few "tunes" in the Breath of the Wild soundtrack, which is otherwise very contemplative and atmospheric. As a result, it's a very standout piece which makes you excited to see the big blue bird every time you come across him!
Although most of the Horns of Hyrule arrangements leverage the strength and power of this massive 16-piece ensemble, my arrangement for Kass's Theme is more like a lighthearted showpiece for a chamber ensemble that constantly changes as people rotate in and out. Every musician has their individual chance to shine, and everyone played their hearts out.
In particular, Alex, Abby (GoofyEuph), and Danny Flam have very virtuosic solos. Alex's rumbling tuba solo took inspiration from the end of Thomas's arrangement of Spirit of Hospitality, Abby's euphonium solo is an extended cadenza that makes full use of her stamina bar, and Danny Flam horn solo is a thinly veiled reference to The Carnival of Venice, one of the most infamous and most virtuosic pieces there is!
Thanks for watching! If you like what you hear, please follow our collaborators' channels -- everyone worked super hard to make this amazing project come together -- and look forward to more Horns of Hyrule!

1:28 HES CRAZY! What a machine. Also hello robert
It is a crime that is only at 1.4k views!
3:40 wow, those trombone quarter notes sure do sound good, really grateful to have that horn accompaniment (:
Vaya solaco de tuba en el 1:25 . Guapísimo
This is great...
The beginning gives me some godfather vibes...
This is a very elaborate arrangement. Very well played and produced.
By far the best cover of kass' theme
Amazing work
this blew my mind like every 30 seconds
Satisfying as heck😎😎😎😎
I loved the euphonium solo! Overall it's simply simply beautiful and playful arrangement with a dramatic flair.
I don't know how to say it. Everything about this video is amazing.
A sick tuba solo AND euphonium solo in one video?? This just made my whole week better.
Underrated
I love that none of these videos have dislikes.
I definitely heard some carnival of Venice elements in there. Fantastic arrangement 👏👏👏 and TUBA SOLO WOOT WOOT
Glad you enjoyed the arrangement, and yup, there were indeed some Carnival inspirations especially in the horn solo! The soloists absolutely nailed a lot of hard music!
I hope Link isn't being too scared by all the giant brass instrument players following him around...
Being serious for a moment, great job as always! I like that everyone had a moment to give it their all.
ok that was unexpected.
thumbs up!
This turned out so great! Thank you again for letting me participate in this huge collab. Really love the editing and green screen work. Made me laugh, made me cry, but mostly made me laugh. 😂
Absolutely incredible performance and arrangement!
Wow, this is really good! Way to develop a 20 second theme into 5 minutes of awesome.
I LOVE the way y’all took a short, simple tune & made it absolutely EPIC!!
I think that I have a new favorite GameBrass video!
Beautifully arranged and executed. Additional props to Alex, Abby, and Danny for their solos. The stamina meter during Abby's solo is a nice touch, sometimes it really does feel that way (though my stamina meter is usually depleted playing upbeats on Sousa marches rather than getting to play virtuosic solos).
Also, theme-and-variation might be my favorite musical form, and Kass' theme just works so well with that.
(And I still have a bad habit of missing premieres that needs to be broken!)
Killer arrangement and killer playing all around. Great job, everyone!
Wow this is incredible
This finna be good i love kass's theme
Very beautiful playing around that great theme
AAAAAA IT'S SO GOOD

Wow! An already standout piece, and YOU MADE IT MORE STANDOUT

Mis oídos agradecen haber escuchado esta belleza
I love it!!!!
Love Kass's Theme and this was fantastic! Love seeing your sublime and ridiculous video edits.
Truly wonderful! This captures the feelings that I had when I saw Kass in game. Fantastic work, everyone!
Excellent Job
Another amazing performance and arrangement! Really been enjoying the Zelda project and your takes on these tunes. This piece in particular really does a great job at utilizing all parts of the brass choir in various ways, with great solos mixed in as well!
I love this so much ♥ it's like a vacation.
'I see the gods are playing trumpet again'.
Such a beloved tune. You guys always have the most killer arrangements especially here with the bass lines! Also I spy a Matt Gagliardo, how did he show up here and on my channel at the exact same time???
Also, I think two songs that would be cool in this sort of arrangement are Midna's Lament from Twilight Princess and Stal (music disc) from minecraft.
1:47 "not my fucking tempo!!"
Do you happen to have the sheet music? I would love to take a look at it
