@@Motoeuro Please give us a review of that bike. It is a Goldilocks bike, as in unicorn bike. Albeit a mixed bag of reliability, and rattling nuts and bolts, of an engine. Mixed, just like my mixed confusion of substituting, Little Red Riding hood with Goldilocks. Best wishes to you for Christmas, and the new year. Cheers!
Hi David, at the moment, she’s a great bike! Quickshifter gives you that extra ‘go’. Only criticism so far is she is heavy! On the road you don’t feel it but on trails, by god she is like a squirrel - better shoes needed, cheers! @@davidmallia628
@@Motoeuro I was considering the 890 AdventureS model, and for value for money, the KTM, CFmoto made, 790 Adventure. Heavier than a T7, slightly but better weight distribution, and better, lower, centre of gravity. You will never find the perfect bike, but you can find the best bike to suit your situation.
@@davidmallia628 You’ve hit the nail on the head; what suits YOU! If you spend most of your time off-road, then a single is awesome, but if your in the ADV market there is so much choice and they all have down points. T7 is excellent but I found it too top heavy like it wanted to fall over. KTM’s have a reliability hangover. Kove / CF Moto are pushing out some damn good bikes but dealer net work is poor like Aprila. Best of luck, for me the 890 is awesome. But not cheap! Take one out for a weekend :D

I looked into these for my KTM 390 ADV (after watching ROB two wheels)... I presumed I would have to pay import tax too (into the UK), and then they just seemed a bit pricey! The discount code may help.

Agreed it's more fun than "ready to adhere to the Highway Code", but I know which I'd rather be standing next to when I'm hauled over by the local rozzers. :D

Perhaps I'm showing my age, but in my book KTM's are hardly boring looking. Polarizing maybe, but not pedestrian. I have a couple older Honda CB1100's. Very classic looking (and in my book - it's a big book - classy looking and certainly not boring, but being classical UJM looking, I'll give you they might be pedestrian). In any event, what a cool way to spice up a bike!

Jokes apart, if you're not going to use it for hard Adventure Riding, you should have bought a T7....

KTM make a bike which if I'm honest would replace 3 of the 4 bikes that I have if I could. And to add to that they're my local dealership. I've just never trusted them so your experience will help or hinder me. I'm sure that it's been asked many times but why so against the Tenere?
Availability, price, weight and FI. The T7’s close to me where silly money if any where available. Dealers are really taking full advantage of the T7’s popularity with used prices close to brand new. The KTM came along at a very good price, never owned a KTM, thought it would be a fun try! Plus, the T7 is massively top heavy, it wants to fall over, the fuel injection is shocking jerky and suspension is average at best. I would have one but, not at the price. When the market calms, I may give in! Cheers :D
@@Motoeuro I get that about top heavy. I'm running a crf250l and a tracer 7 and as much as i'd love to amalgamate them i'm not convinced. The truth is the Tracer does most light off roading unless i'm looking for the lanes which are now either gone or extreme as fuck by me.

Its an odd one as some owners have companied about the fueling, but some say its perfect so perhaps it’s a Euro 5 issue whereas the Euro 4 bikes were smoother? -Not sure. If T7 was available at the same price as my used KTM, I would have probably gone for the T7 - The KTM is far from perfect! Cheers :D @@I_am_Thursday

Having said that… there is no better value in motorcycling !! (Yes I’m thinking of buying one !)
Not the prettiest bike I agree, but for the money..... there's a lot of bang for your buck!
