Absolutely love vanquest bags I have two of them I have the Markor 45 and the Trident 31 recently sold the Trident to one of my bug out partners. It was a upgrade from his 3V gear 72 hr bag.
Does vanquest repair pack? Because I have a trident 32 in multicam black and it has some problems years a loose zipper pull on of the zippers is only on one track.
Nice interview! I met Michael on the IWA show in Nürnberg (Germany) and it was really a pleasure talking to him and get to know the details about the packs and the stuff they make. Greetings form Germany :)
This is exactly why I’m now a Vanquest convert over maxpedition and 5.11 ect . Great attention to details and quality. I hope they take over the industry:)
Great interview, my friend. I just bought a pack about months ago so, I don't need another one right now but, if it should ever spontaneously combust into a mushroom cloud, the Ibex-26 will probably be next. I have one related question, in your humble opinion, who has the best interior pouches with hook and loop? Thanks for sharing.
Interior pouches with hook...hmmm. I use Vanquest AnchorWraps, which are hook and loop strips, to attach my gear and pouches to the inside. But I would say any type of Velcro would work. The AnchorWraps just make it easy, why reinvent the wheel? As always thanks for the comment!
Great interview! And yeah, I know what you mean about background noise during an interview! I did some interviews at the uscca Expo this year and the background noise just about killed my audio. I promptly went out and bought a wireless lav mic right after that. I think I need to step up my game and get a second one.
Hey John, thanks for watching! Dialed in is right. All the zippers are YKK, and most are reverse sewn for smoothness and durability. Honestly I haven’t found a weak point yet.
Hey ! Says the Canadian Maybe you don't know but i'm in wheelchair, so many thing gouin on heart, kidneys , but still i want to be ready, i bought a stupid ant bag, and stupid alright, never used it and bang busted zipper losing some stitching, i'm looking for time and toughtnes in one bag , i live in a northern island call montreal, there are winter here with lots of snow, can't just go shopping , the chair dont fit in store door, the transportation is alway a problem... there are so many kind , your suggestion would be what ? not really tactical urban but more, 40 liter the smallest. tanks ugly kenny say hello to madame tent cant really say ugly coz i saw her. squeeze mi french.
Hello my Canadian friend! I did not know that, and I’m sorry you have to endure so much. My prayers will be with you. I don’t think you could go wrong with a Vanquest pack. They are padded, and rugged. All the zippers are YKK and tough as nails. They are a bit pricey, but worth the extra coin. I’ll tell Mrs. UglyTent you said hello. Until next time, take care my friend. Kenny
I have the Vanquest Markhor 45. And it's my favorite bag ever. And I love yes orange high viz contrast fabric inside.

Not that I’m aware of, but try contacting them and see what they’ll do

I agree, I need to step up my game too.
Kenny, thanks for sharing . My only concern is zipper failure . Any thoughts on that ? It looks like a really dialed in pack though.

Loving that backpack! Great interview.
