These are awesome builds, well thought out, and narrated. One small item I would wish you would add somewhere in the video would be a total list of materials need to build these buildings.

Not related to this video, but just wanted to show my appreciation for your fantastic mods for Icarus. Specifically, I use "KeepTheTrees" and "RealLevels" in the main and both have really increased my enjoyment of the game. I also use "NoWaterWheelJunk", ""NoSeedFatigue" and "NoWeather" from time to time. I wasn't sure how else to thank you, so "thanks" here. :-)
Hey I really appreciate the comments and feedback, I’m glad they worked out for you!. I really like using the buildersdream mod to setup my base, then I scale it back to just using a custom mod I have to help a bit with gameplay, to enjoy the experience… cheers!
I'm fine with all the gathering / grinding to set up my bases, but hate losing all the trees to fire / wind, especially on my Open Worlds that I play most. I also hate having to go round all my bases to repair the Wind Turbines after a couple of storms! The others are also to just stop the micro-management of my bases. Actually, I wonder whether you know of any mod that doesn't *stop* the weather entirely but just stops it damaging buildings? I rather like the weather and don't mind it affecting me, just not damaging all those turbines! I did look through everything on Project Daedalus, but couldn't see anything appropriate. Many thanks again for your hard work! Oh, I should add that your building techniques are also incredible! I tend to favour function over form for all my bases though! ;-)
@@charlescrawley I think you would need to mess with each type of building piece durability and damage stats, which I have stayed away from up to now. I’ll have a look and see what is possible and post a separate mod.

Perhaps, if it would need changes to each building piece, just create a mod that protects power devices. Buildings, especially high tier ones, take a long time to damage significantly, while turbines start losing power capacity almost immediately, which is the real problem.
@@icarus-firstcohort-basebui9026 Perhaps the simplest solution might be to just prevent damage to the power items, as they are the ones that degrade quickest, especially the turbines. Actually, I've not noticed the solar panels and water wheels degrading at all, so it may only need the turbines to be protected.
