I've never watched guilty crown, but my brother did back when it was first released, he's 10 years older than me and mostly he lived with my dad in another city and i remember growing up listening to this song on repeat every time him and i would be together, because it's a fantastic song that we both loved. Now, this is not only a beautiful song, but an experience that brings me childhood nostalgia and that's one of the greatest feelings i've ever felt

Even if it's not a romantic partner or family. Find people who are like you and you can trust, most of all. tl;dr: Life is hard and no one ever trusted me, but now I have friends who do. Find them for yourself if you need them.

Damn as someone who is about to be 27 this year and watched this 10 years ago this hit hard. Not because of nostalgia but the lyrics hit man..especially never being in a relationship because of childhood trauma the fear of being loved and also vulnerable. I am sort of cold and closed off and my heart is guarded so the uncensored feeling of loving someone must feel beautiful. Maybe it's not for me and I have gotten this far because I have had to rely on my own self love to push me through this path but having this glimpse with these lyrics in my head I shed a tear. This song won't change who I have become I will still be as cold towards love as I ever was but it was a nice thought to have.

But, as Gai once said, once the câncer reached a certain stage, You cant cure It anymore. So Inori knew she was going to die And what was her choice? She fooled Shu one Last time, she took all.the câncer into her and right before her death she asked shu tu take the Red string. Remember, the Red string means the life of a person, It is shown when Shu uses the scissors void tô cut and Kill some of the characters. But what this choice meant? Inori took ALL the cancer into herself and saved Shu, but she have him her life. In the final scene, We see them hugging each other on a cloudy place and Shu is wearing a set of clothing he never used before, why? That's his mind. Inori's soul had been transfered to Shu's body. And now they live Together in his mind. So in fact she did not die. Lastly, take a minute to read the lyrics of the Full Opening song ''My Dearest": "So everything that makes me whole, i'll dedicate to you now" that First LINE describes the end i Just explained to you. And at the end of The Song she sais: Even if my existence is not Allowed anymore. That means she knew her fate but pulled a master trick only to stay together with Shu until the end of his Days.
If I ever get the chance to one day I want to use some of the lyrics as wedding vows. This would make for a very lovely, emotional and unforgettable moment.

The series was probably one of the most aesthetically beautiful I've seen so far. However, the main protagonist was just a massive pussy in my opinion and the ending was a bit unsettling. But I think I might rewatch it and see how my thoughts may have changed.

The story is not bad. It is not just ''the happy ending'' spoilers . . . . .. . . . 1) Inori is a synthetic being aka a ''monster'' programmed to destroy the world 2)There was no way the could have a nice ending after trampling and playing with the hearts of many individuals 3) Inori would have to either die or destroy the world 4)At the end she had doubts about Shu accepting her knowing what she is and must do 5)Shu loved her nonetheless accepting to sacrifice and die with her taking away the the void-infection from the world. 6)Inori did not allow it and saved him at the last second because...love 7)Shu lived on losing his sight, arm, Inori but not the time shared together. This is a more impactfull ending imo, such ending makes for a memorable series lol
Been years since I've watched GC. Watched it when it was first aired and My Dearest is still my all time fav song for 2 reasons . I love orchestral soothing music like this. So on a good day, i can jam to the beat . The other is lyrics. I'm the 1st son, so most responsibilities land on me, plus high hopes from both of my parents families. well finally got around to hearing this and i can see why the anime community call guilty crown's first opening a banger this is indeed an emotional love story that honestly unwraps your very soul once you understand the lyrics and the meaning behind them "my dearest" could never be a more fitting title to this masterpiece and supercell though more importantly the mademoiselle singing it did a fantastic job i honestly say gold stars all around

@@Cimex090 in short therms, Inori had a Strong resistence Against the câncer, That's why she could Say goodbye to Shu.
But, as Gai once said, once the câncer reached a certain stage, You cant cure It anymore. So Inori knew she was going to die
And what was her choice? She fooled Shu one Last time, she took all.the câncer into her and right before her death she asked shu tu take the Red string. Remember, the Red string means the life of a person, It is shown when Shu uses the scissors void tô cut and Kill some of the characters.
But what this choice meant? Inori took ALL the cancer into herself and saved Shu, but she have him her life. In the final scene, We see them hugging each other on a cloudy place and Shu is wearing a set of clothing he never used before, why? That's his mind. Inori's soul had been transfered to Shu's body. And now they live Together in his mind. So in fact she did not die.
Lastly, take a minute to read the lyrics of the Full Opening song ''My Dearest":
"So everything that makes me whole, i'll dedicate to you now" that First LINE describes the end i Just explained to you.
And at the end of The Song she sais: Even if my existence is not Allowed anymore. That means she knew her fate but pulled a master trick only to stay together with Shu until the end of his Days.

This series has great potential. But it ended up with an unsettling feeling.
The series was probably one of the most aesthetically beautiful I've seen so far. However, the main protagonist was just a massive pussy in my opinion and the ending was a bit unsettling. But I think I might rewatch it and see how my thoughts may have changed.

2)There was no way the could have a nice ending after trampling and playing with the hearts of many individuals
3) Inori would have to either die or destroy the world
4)At the end she had doubts about Shu accepting her knowing what she is and must do
5)Shu loved her nonetheless accepting to sacrifice and die with her taking away the the void-infection from the world.
6)Inori did not allow it and saved him at the last second because...love
7)Shu lived on losing his sight, arm, Inori but not the time shared together.
This is a more impactfull ending imo, such ending makes for a memorable series lol
