Ah yes! I gotta say, I watched Psycho-pass back in 2015 for the first time and and Monster just about a year ago and oof, how much I love when things come together to show how connected everything is. Makishima is literally the nameless monster of the story. Can't be detected, basically forever non-existent to the public, a mere shadow, just pulling the strings.
The endings of the episodes was my favourite part of the series. The way that the ending song starts when there is still footage of the series or how the characters deal with the aftermath of the events. Made me relate more to the characters and their feelings. Psycho-pass is so much more different. Very well thought through.

Egoist did something special making this sensational ending song for Psycho Pass. It's technolyzed/digitized but so sweet, chilling and an absolute catchy bop. You can feel the cold yet hopeful mood of the show from this.
Actually looking for the text in the anime "Monster" when searching for "monster without a name", never realize it is also the title for one of psychopass ending theme. Both are psychological anime i watched last year around the same time, both are among my favourites!.
@@antroponauta1133 Actually, the best "reference" on the song name, is the relation between makishima itself and sibyl; Makishima (or someone else, but im pretty sure it was him) said something like the system is now who decides who is who depending in their psycho pass, so if the system cant recognize you (since it cant read Makishimas psychopass) its the same as saying you dont exist as a person in that society, thus the "monster" on the song name, and the "without a name" cames from that also it is sibyl who gives humans, humanity. Their personalities, their jobs, their futures, sibyl is the one that manipulates that, and Makishima being unables to be controlled by the system, he has no name, no future, nothing. At least, thats the interpretation i got from the name. The same goes for Kougami though, he was recognized by the system as someone who is not "worthy" to live in that system, but he got tha oportunity to leave all behind and became nothing more than a hunting dog, he is now a merciless killing machine, he was left with nothing but a gun and a task, it is kind of a metaphor since he still remains with his name, Kougami Shinya, but still, you get the point.
@@ignacioariellopez8491 I thought monster without name was Kougami because, even if you were recognized by Sybil, you are nothing but a "small cell in a bigger system" (I can't think in a better metaphor right now but you get it) so even Akane or any detective was just instruments to keep the "peace" in that world, instruments that don't have an identity recognized by Sybil, and that's what EGOIST means (at least to me) when she talks about that nameless being. And "monster" because he and the other hound dogs were looked as criminals by the other detectives who used them to do the "dirty work" of killing other criminals (I feel that's kinda obvious). Now I was analyzing the chorus a little bit, EGOIST sings to the monster without name like he were a partner or someone who can save her from her chains, when she says "let's do justice" and "destroy it before it destroys me", and it's really similar to Akane and Kougami relationship; she in some moment started to understand him and his ideology, and he helped her to become a better detective and to escape from Sybil's orders and mentality. It's just my interpretation, you can accept it or not. And sorry, but my English is not really good, but thanks for reading it.
@@antroponauta1133 "even if you were recognized by Sybil, you are nothing but a "small cell in a bigger system" (I can't think in a better metaphor right now but you get it) so even Akane or any detective was just instruments to keep the "peace" in that world, instruments that don't have an identity recognized by Sybil," Well, yes, and no. The difference between Akane and Kougami (Inspectors and executers) is not that how they are recognized by sibyl, but how they are recognized by the society itself. Sure, Akane and inspectors are tools to reach "peace", but they are recognized by the society as humans because of their psycho pass, they have a "name" that is recognized and accepted by the rest of the society, on the other hand, latent criminals neither are accepted by society nor recognized by them as "normal humans" like they. On the eyes of those who are considered "Normal humans", latent criminals are something below humans, tools, monters whom their only purpouse is to hunt the rest of them, and thats why they are "monsters withouth a name", while on the other hand Akane, inspectors are such are neither monsters nor dont have a name. Thats the biggest difference between them two, but as you said, they are pretty similar in other perspective. Yeah, thats actualy a good point, but it has another interpretation, the "destroy it before it destroys me" could also be a reference to latent criminals, like Masaoka or Kougami, they were destroyed by the way the system works, in a world where stress, depression and a large etc are condemend by the system, those who suffer it as a consequence that does not involves them (like the girl in the first episode, who turned into a criminal because she was helding hostage by a criminal) are "destroyed" by the system. And it could also be a phrase from someone (not specified, more like a metaphor of how part of the society thinks about the system) whom speaks from the future begging "destroy this system, before it destroy us all and our humanity" Theres no wrong or right interpretation of both the opening and the series itself, those two are just things with no true objetive or final significant, they just let us thinking, and thats whats awesome about psychopass.

I still remember the goosebumbs I felt when I heard this ending at the end of the 3rd "Sinners of the System" movie when Kogami said he would go back to Japan. This series feels like a quiet night mood, so perfect ^^
I think, perhaps, by how exciting the ending song was, I was hooked on wanting to watch the next episode to the point where I'd immediately start the next one excitedly anticipating all the mystery and action until the very show end, and thus the cycle would repeat itself, inducing a seemingly never-ending binge of episode to episode. I was hooked.

Psycho could possibly not have a better ending, its PERFECT. Can't believe they're giving us 3 mini movies instead of season 3... But fingers crossed the movies set the scene and a season comes straight after X\
Because season 1 was a different story than season 2, just using the same MC and setting. So people want a third season that uses the same MC and setting, but tells a different story just like the first two seasons do.
because people wanted the plot direction to be different. like in the 1st and 2nd seasons Akane focused on exposing the true nature of the Sybil system but i would want Akane to rebel against it in other words declaring war with the system and put an end to it once and for all. that in my opinion would be a perfect ending.
But none of what happened in the first season would've been valid if Akane were rebellious. It would entirely defeat the point of her commitment to a true and just law in the first season, and go directly against everything she said about making the system work. In her own way, she DID rebel too, but in an effort to allow Sybil to be judged, with falls exactly in line with what her season 1 personality would've done.
Man the ending of this anime.......... They just set themselves up for more seasons rather than giving a good story. This anime, from ep1 till the last couple of episodes, was just perfection imo but alas business is more important than the quality or justice to story.........

Haha same here ..
The first thing that came into my mind after seeing the title was Johan...
I always imagined this "monster without a name" to be the Sibyl system.
Sibyl is composed of different sh1t personalities.. Thankfully we have Akane.
Well, I thought the nameless monster was Kougami Shinya... It's interesting to find different interpretations
The "PERFECT" ending was in season 1. Besides if it had a perfect ending why would you want a season 3?
That would be a horrible ending, the whole point was that the system is flawed ,but it's the best solution at the moment.
Man the ending of this anime..........
They just set themselves up for more seasons rather than giving a good story.
This anime, from ep1 till the last couple of episodes, was just perfection imo but alas business is more important than the quality or justice to story.........
This slays this will always be a slay
El mejor ending del todo el anime
nombre apellido nombre del anime?

I just started this show. Don't really have the time to be watching it properly. I guess I'm currently on episode 7 or 8 or somewhere near those numbers. But to me this Ed is one of the most outstanding anime endings I've ever heard. I might actually like this more than the op itself. So far I'm also liking it
I hope you´ve finished it yet?
I am quiet excited about the new movie.
I cant even. Aaaahhh the nostalgia
Nostalgic af, reminds me of the days where I spent the whole day watching anime
wait you dont do that now?
@@MarkEdwardRom Too bad for me. I used to watch like 10 anime each season. But now I'm lucky if I manage to finish a series in a month lol. I haven't watch the latest rezero, kaguya and aot even tho all of em are my favourite anime.
I've read the eclipse arc of Berserk listening to this song and oh boy it fits so well, awesome!
Monster without name, heard similar to anime "Monster" when johan find a story book with title " monster with no name"
This op is Rockin'. But for real. I listen to it all day, and think of a Psycho-Pass character edit. This song is just... Everythink
psycho-pass season three is airing in October!! Let’s goooooo
*scream intensifies
But watch SS case movies first
But only 8 episodes :( still I'm hyped
@@otakuman642 more like 16. Every episode is 40 min long, like the extended ver of S1
Это правда?
Out of all the people, I miss Masaoka so much. I don't know why... I guess it's because he's from the old system so I relate to him a bit
Thanks for uploading this

I fell in love right after i listened to this song in the anime now i got flashbacks after food wars op 4
Years later and this still hits
y’all ever finish an anime alone and you listen to the ending song alone and it’s sad cause it was such a good show and the ending is so epic and nostalgic and you just wish you could live in that world instead of this one and now the show is ending and you have nothing to look forward to at the end of your day ? :( a feeling so epic but so empty.
What's anime name please tell me
@@mnster4212 psycho-pass
Story of my life.
Also Monster anime reference
I’ve never missed that ending. 💙
Monster without a name ❣️
This is literally the best ending I have heard, it beats any ending and op. No one can complain about that
Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a nameless monster.
Insert nostalgic goosebumps✨🥰✨
No words. Egoist is beyond divine.
S3 coming soon, here we go again man!!
Yes
Do I even want to watch this after the disaster S2 was?
@@Reoooooooooooooooooooooo season 2 was a mess because the original director was on hiatus but he is back & he directed the movie trilogy for psycho-pass & he is directing this season
@@cash_eye If you are talking about Urobochi then no, he didnt direct the movies nor is he coming back for ss3.
@@minhhieunguyen613 and he was never a director, only script writer

SOOOOO, THIS PLAYED IN THE PSYCHO PASS MOVIE?
PSYCHO PASS HAS A MOVIE?
I didn't for sure, I might watch it if it's in English.
Kingdom Hartea it is dubbed!! Just might have to do a bit of searching online :)
Imma watch it then.
+Kingdom “Pervert King” Hartea I prefer subbed over dubbed because the dubs for anime usually suck
Oh.
I just like dubs Cuz', no reading-
the true fight of that anime was ED 1 (monster without name) against ED 2 (walk alone with you).
the fight of two gigants.
