Like everyone else, I think you’re great fun to watch, a wonderful teacher, so generous with all of your knowledge and talent. I’m so glad I found you, too! Thank you 😊
Thank you Jessica for your helpful, happy and funny videos.... I have learnt so much .... am a granny potter with not much experience and so I find your videos very helpful.
Lol I heard your chickens and thought it was mine on my front porch again.. glad you said something because I was going to get up and move them along..lol
Your instruction is exquisite! Informative AND funny! I made this vase (2 actually) during open studio time and was riotously excited with the results! Thank you!!!!
LOL!!! I actually thought that was MY chicken talkin! I've seen MANY videos for tips on sculpting and pottery, YOURS are by far the MOST FUN! And also incredibly informative ... otherwise what's the point right? So keep those vids a comin becuz you've got quite a following Sista!
Thanks for this video! It looks like a great project. QUESTION: If the seam bothers me, can I just attach the handle there? Or would that weaken the seam and maybe cause the handle to fall off?
Hi. I'm learning pottery completely by watching UA-cam videos. Yours are great. I don't have access to a kiln and what I'm making will never be used with food. How long should I wait for my vases to dry? The thickness is usually about 1/4" thick. Because I don't have a kiln I can't fire my projects. What kind of paint should I use? I want to put real flowers and water in the vases. Any of your subscribers can answer if they know the answer to my questions? Thanks everyone.
find some oven bake clay and use that instead and you can just paint it once you bake it with acrylic paint. I usually wait about 2 weeks before firing my pieces in a kiln but with oven bake clay that will be different. Just follow the directions on the package and you should be fine!
Nice video...thanks for the info. Will you consider a video on how to make a simple signature or basic stamps for clay? Thanks the resource info as well.
Actually I made one for clayshare.com and I did a Facebook live broadcast on how to make your own chop(signature stamp) you can view it on ClayShare's Facebook page or at ClayShare under ClayShare TV
Great video, thanks for sharing. You're always a little bonkers (not in a bad way) but a very interesting watch; just talking out what's in your head. This teaches us how to constantly re-evaluate. Good job as you Americans would say. Where on Earth did you get that GARGANTUAN roller though?
lol thanks Sean! I have no filter and often just say what is in my head, this is sometimes good sometimes bad but always entertaining! Believe it or not I found the roller on amazon!
Jessica looked at u on clay.com....completely mad, i know folks have short attention span these days but 1 min 13 sec for each video really does my head in. no obvious way to see the next one either. seriously, u should try it ur self. otherwise u make some of the best instructional vids around, why did u fall down here
