- In this video, we will doing a chicken, rotisserie style, on the Masterbuilt 1050 Gravity Feed Charcoal Grill.
This chicken will be injected with the Amazin' Cajun injection from Heaven Made Products. We used 16 oz of butter as the medium for the injection. The chicken was cooked at 350 degrees F for approximately 30 minutes per pound. Chickens cooked on a rotisserie usually take anywhere between 20 and 30 minutes per pound. Always use your instant read thermometer and check for 165 degrees in the breast and 185 degrees in the thigh/leg area. A great tool for rotisseries is the Meater or Meater+ wireless thermometer. Of course these, and everything you see in our videos, can be found at www.sweetsmokiejoe.com.

I cooked that last night on the MB 1050 with the rotisserie. After buying the Charcoal the smoking wood and the 13 dollar chicken I asked my self if it was all worth it. Could have gone to Sam’s and got one cooked for 4.99. Lol. Got to love grilling as I do. Was fun and tasted great. Great video. Thanks.
I literally thought this yesterday when I payed $13.00/ea. for two chickens. I felt a little balance thought because I got brisket for $1.99/lbs at Kroger.
Great video buddy thx for sharing, I just bought this in the UK and love cooking on the 1050. just subbed and hit the bell.
Tie before you juice and season the bird. Much easier
Maybe do the truss BEFORE the marinade?
Great video thank you
Great video man, just got my rotisserie for my 560 yesterday. Subscribed brother!
You ever have trouble with your rotisserie add on not spinning? My didn’t last one use.
It has a counterweight. It's called centering chicken on the spit
Is the rotisserie designed so that it can stay on the grill permanently or would you have to remove to go back to grilling? I can't wait. My grill gets delivered on Thursday
You can remove it. I leave the motor on the side of the grill and simply remove the shift and prongs.
So what’s the sauce called and when is it available?
Should be ready in a few weeks. Wanting to make sure it is just right. The name is, "How 'Bout 'Dat White Sauce"
@@stankendall cool thanks , looking forward to trying it .
Yum!🍺🍻🍺
did you leave the neck in?
Why truss the chicken? I understand tying the legs but the wings are already tucked.
A little bit of overkill, I agree. Just don't want them to "untuck" and burn. Great observation and point...👍
Its better to be safe than sorry. If those chicken legs and wings start to fall apart it could be disaster
Chicken rub
Looks great but you should not wash chicken.
That is not a 1050
