- The Jeanneau Yachts 55 blends the best features of cruising monohulls, catamarans and motoryachts into one irresistible package for sailing the Med, the Whitsundays or the world. The Jeanneau Yachts 55 is now available in Australia and the test boat was provided by 38 South Yacht Sales (www.38southyac...) - contact 38 South if you want to schedule a private viewing or test sail. This video was filmed by Fluid Imagery Melbourne and is the property of Club Marine TV.
Jeanneau hit a home run with this design. Moving the helms forward increases safety offshore. The nav station under the hard dodger is spectacular for overnight watches. I wish they had increased fuel tankage
"Owner's apartment." that pretty much sums it up; a floating condo. A movable eye sore which makes Jeanneau's earlier boats actually look ok. And what is the material the interior is made of? Doesn't look like any wood I've ever seen. What is the ticket price, a million or more?
1. Why wouldn't you want something comfortable?
2. Why would you want the weight inherent in wood?
3. Yes expensive things are expensive. Terrible isn't it?
@@AdeboFunkyVoodooit's just another production boat where all the creativity has been channelled into cost saving. A 5m beam on a 55ft boat is ridiculous. It's a condominium.
They did look "ok".
@@AdeboFunkyVoodoo Those boats are junk. They ride rough as hell, which is why you never see them demonstrated in anything but calm waters. Awful designs. Anyone who pays that kind of money for one needs their head examined. They should just buy a power boat, because these are crap
Those boats are still junk. Cheap cabinets that rattle loose after a while. Lets see you get that out into some rougher seas instead of that flat as a lake water. Those boats are rough riding, and will slam into the waves and shake all the cabinets loose inside. Terrible designs and cheaply made tupperware garbage.
Wash.
Eh.
Why not buy a motorboat from the beginning
Why not buy this if you want a sail boat?
Stupid design
Should be laughed out of any marina.
