Thank you very much for this review! Can you provide a link/ product name for the Mat board cutter you use to cut the panels?

The Centurion panels also come with an acrylic primer base on MDF boards.

Hi Tanner, companies include a small percentage of Zinc to prevent yellowing. w/o zinc, a pure titanium white will yellow. (until you expose it to UV). You're right that zinc is "brittle" but as long as it's a small percent I don't think there's anything to worry about.
old video, maybe you just mispoke. 6:23

Good point! I'd refer you to George O'Hanlon from natural pigments for the best advice.

Sounds like a lot of downsides to the panel with the linen coming off, the possible cracking and yellowing due to the zinc, etc.

I bought these by mistake; I meant to order Centurion stretched linen canvas to use for portraits. I have used these for Plein air painting in smaller sizes and they are great. Instead of returning these, you have given me the great idea of cutting them into smaller sizes. Would you use them for a portrait in the 24x36 size? I want a portrait to last for generations. Not sure how this compares to stretched linen.

What are your thoughts on the Fredrix pro series Belgian linen and then priming it with an oil primer ? I also like Ampersand gesso boards . what are some others that you would recommend similar to these that are affordable but also of high-quality ?

    Is cutting difficult?

Not at all. Just score the board repeatedly until you have created a trench. Then, it's easy to push harder to cut in half. I use a matte board cutter.
