speaking of offline bb tourneys around the world, I think there'll be one in Indonesia around February 1st. It's technically a Tekken event, but surprisingly BBCF and SF6 managed to be one of the main games being held respectively
I think the closest thing rn to a major with big international competition will probably be CEO for Blazblue. I think you're right about the game gaining interest lately. In Costa Rica we'll have an offline tournament again after years and many people from the anime scene picked up the game recently. Last saturday, we had some casuals and there was plenty love for Blazblue.

As for the matchup, people don’t talk a lot about Jona, but he is one of the very few people to take events from Monarch. He’s godly. Valk is one of those weird high tiers you don’t see a lot of, but he can absolutely give everyone a hard time (IIRC his speed and angles can be tough for both Clovers, which is nuts). Betadood is great, but Jona and Valk are another level. Delete Arakune.
Real talk to answer the question of whats the big BB event, taku doesn't have a huge showing as far as I know. Frosty will be pretty big. CB is also gonna be big. BB is a side game at AWT so ppl might show up for that I'm not too sure on that one yet tho
@tabkg5802 Wdym? 😭 The game is just as fine now that the bug fixes are here and early patch notes are coming to fix some faulty balance changes. It's simply just how Change works.
The main reason Valk makes me mad is because he reminds me of Slayer so much but plays nothing like him if you want to play optimally, its disheartening.
Just play Azrael. The only thing similar is the color because it's on purpose as a reference to Slayer, nothing would otherwise remind you of Slayer about Valkenhayn.
Well Jiyuna the thing you don't get is that THIS are not that nasty mix ups like you anime players LOOOVE to glaze with that GAWK GAWK 5K, come play a REAL game like SF6 and get throw loop'd like real men do

Great matches. Valkenhayn is such a fun character. I messed around with him in CP Extend. I am not good and boy do you need skill to use him well.
Man back when he had 6C he had really big damage, 150 heat 10k damage back in CS2. Makoto also had that 11k damage potential.
DLC Valk/Makoto were both BROKEN
