How about autostart added to your vehicle so you can start the car from inside the house 15 or 20 minutes before you leave and the defrost is on and the inside warm and ready to go
Hey Joel. FYI: Amazon in the UK has heated auto seat cushions for less than £60 that plug in to 12v cigarette lighter. I bought one for my car in the states a few years ago. I used it only during the winter and removed it in warmer weather.
I love having heated seats, heated steering wheel, seats, and a remote start. The funny part of it is that we live right on the Gulf of Mexico where you might need it for 2 months out of the year. My mother in law lives up in Kansas though, where you freeze your bits off and it really comes in handy when we go up there to see her. I'd get the seats done if I were you. It's a huge difference and it's worth it. I love not having to de-ice the windows and the mirrors too. The car was a top of the line package with all of the options including a color coat and sound system and it was sitting on the showroom floor. No one had bought it all year, so they kind of threw it at us at a great price. Who cares if it's a year old? The bad part is we''ll never get a deal like that again. 🤣
Two things that have helped our frosty mornings here in the Seattle area, immensely . . . 1. A cover that goes over our windshield/windscreen. We got it at Costco. It hooks around your side mirrors and you just take it off before you head out. 2. We got a pack of four of these little dehumidifier bags that we put (2 in each car) on the dash. They absorb moisture inside the car and limits the necessity for inside defrosting. Every once in a while, you pop them in the microwave to recharge them. I got them on Amazon. We have heated seats in our Subaru Forester (such a cliché car around here) and they are AWESOME!!!!!
I have heated as well as air conditioned seats in my MB. It’s quite rare that the temperature get so cold to use use the heating / cooling functions but if I’m in the mountains during the winter or the desert in the summer it’s a blessing to have them. Get the upgrade. Many moons ago I saw Book of Mormon in Hollywood when it was on tour and I loved it however my husband and friends didn’t care for it very much. Stay well and keep vlogging away. You just have a little less than two weeks to go.👍🙏😎🤪
Oh, Joel, definitely spring for the heated seats, I have them (and the heated mirrors and steering wheel), and they are the best. Go ahead and treat your bum and hands! 😂 I never had them before, but now I don’t think I can be without them again. 🙂 And I hope you loved “& Juliet”, I saw it in NYC and it was a fun party all the way through! 🥰
Defo frame them all. Maybe put a note in the back of the frame the year they are from so if you forget years later you will have it marked in the back of the frame. Maybe in the inside back of the frame with a sticky note or something 😊 Such a great find.
Something in your car is definitily broken. I worked for BMW and we had the same car there as a run around and it was warm in 3-5 min. You should have it checkt for Thermostat or vent damage. That isnt normal.
I have a mini but also had an Expedition. That thing was massive but it still heated fairly quickly. Could be your coolant or your thermostat. Possibly the blower.
Joel ofc old maps are stashed. It’s like finding a present you bought yourself last May. I do that with yarn…What! When did I buy this fabulous skein of yarn? Wasn’t I the sharpest tool in the shed that day! 😅😅😅
Hi Joel..greetings from Rhode Island ,USA 🙋🏻 I can tell you now ,the heated seats are a def gamechanger in winter🥰I was lucky enough to purchase a car last year with them and omg! It makes dealing with a slow heating system tolerable and pleasant.🔥👍🏻
I have never heard of a car taking so long to heat up. Have you asked your dealer about it? I had an old 1960 Chevy Bel Air as my first car in high school years ago. Even in Northern Illinois in below zero degree Fahrenheit weather it was toasty warm in under 5 minutes. Those maps are a treasure. Definitely frame them. Have a great week 😊.
I watched you take care of your car and remembered the situation that happened to me yesterday. A man stopped next to me in the parking lot who was either drunk or unwell, but as soon as he opened the door, he immediately threw up. 2 crows immediately flew up and started eating his vomit. Judging by the behavior of the crows, this was not the first time they had done this, as they looked like professionals.😂🥰
I have heated seats and they are nice! I am surprised it takes so long for your car to heat up. Hope you have a great time at the theater! Good luck with the ❄️
Is it cold in your house, Joel. You had on a heavy sweatshire with a hoodie? Anyway, looking forward to tomorrow's video and hope to see a lot of snow. Anxious to hear all about the show.
Comments re the heat in the car: have you googled it to see if other owners also complain of that problem with that model? Maybe there's something wrong with it (one would expect better of BMW) so you could mention it the next time you take the car in for routine service. Get the heated seats! I just got them a year ago as a 70+ retiree and they're so good. I wish I'd paid for them all those years ago when I was leaving the house early every morning and freezing my buns off! Get the seats!
Even my used 2007 Ford Escape has heated seats, heated side mirrors and the heated steering wheel oh and leather seats. Go for it it’s so worth it. 💙💙💙🙂🐈⬛🐈💖🌈💙💙💙
Have a great night. I would get the heated seats. It's funny cause I spent yesterday looking for air-conditioning as it's always hot here in Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Of course you have old maps! You love old, cool things and you were in a shop one day and thought..."these are cool. And they are only 20 quid for 3 maps!" I'm ready to put my Christmas tree up! She said randomly! 😂😂 Always ❤
I Love my Cadillac. I love the luxury feel-heated seats, heated steering wheel-and the overall luxury it gives. To me, it's worth the price. I say go for what makes you feel comfortable and enjoy within your price range, of course. 😘. ..if you work hard for it, you earned- I say get that heated steering wheel.
Please don't leave UA-cam. Even though you make more money from TikTok, you've built up a loving and supportive following here. I won't join TikTok because it is owned by the Chinese government and they have blocked all of China from viewing it. You and Keegan are important to us on UA-cam. God bless you both. Matt D.
Not to be morbid too, Joel, but I often think that if I die and someone were to look at my Google search history, they would probably wonder what I was up to 😂
I'm happy for your success with "short form" content. I am not the audience for that loudly complaining character you've created. But I have followed you since your Joel and Lia days. The real you is my favorite ❤
It’s about making you comfortable, period. I don’t believe you’ll receive any extra money for resale unless you sell privately (do you do trade-ins in the UK?). Dealers give you NOTHING for after-market upgrades.
The money that you spend to add heated seats will be only for your own comfort and enjoyment. Come time to sell the car, you won't get anymore money for that feature . Even here in the very hot desert, winter here is chilly and enjoy my heated massage seats and steering wheel. It has heated mirrors but not necessary in this dry climate. When I drive over to California in winter a different story.
I live in San Diego, CA and have a car with heated seats. I can’t believe they are not standard on every vehicle. I’ll never get another car without them. I had no idea what I was missing. 😎 2:49

Joel you need a remote starter , so you can start your car before you leave the house and it will be all warm by the time you get in

Get the seats; they heat faster. Why suffer? It's why we keep working, so we can live comfortably 🤗
Hey Joel. FYI: Amazon in the UK has heated auto seat cushions for less than £60 that plug in to 12v cigarette lighter. I bought one for my car in the states a few years ago. I used it only during the winter and removed it in warmer weather.
There's a cheap reusable device that will work as well as a spray. It's called an ice scrapper and it fits in your glove box

Keegan with the Stache reminds me of Cliff Robertson in the 70s. :) ❤. Which is not a bad thing! I find his look at that time handsome. :)
I like voiceover Joel. He’s very delightful and chaotic haha

I live in the northeast of the US and in winter it can go to -24° C. I love my heated seats!
Heated seats are the top feature I need in a car. I won’t even consider it without them. 💁🏼♀️ I need those toasty buns in winter 🥶
Oh, Joel, definitely spring for the heated seats, I have them (and the heated mirrors and steering wheel), and they are the best. Bet it is the thermostat between engine block and radiator. Might have that looked at.
Merry Christmas with lots of love! I hope you receive one blessing after another this coming year. greetings from NYC.

I have a mini but also had an Expedition. That thing was massive but it still heated fairly quickly. Could be your coolant or your thermostat. Possibly the blower.
I am so jealous of you and Keegan attending the show! I can't wait to hear about how amazing it is! You two have a wonderful evening!

Can’t wait to hear how you liked the show!! Hope you get just enough snow yo make things looks beautiful❄️❄️
Crossing our fingers for snow for Ava! Have a great time tonight. LOVE the maps frame them very interesting conversation pieces. ~Cara ❤

I copy the "backside" of the Yorkshire one and get it framed. would look interesting.
I couldn't live without my heated seats and steering wheel!❤❤❤❤
Have a great night. I would get the heated seats. It's funny cause I spent yesterday looking for air-conditioning as it's always hot here in Queensland Australia 🇦🇺

Heated steering wheel helps cold more than seats. Heated seats are great for backaches. The real answer is if it preheats, just takes Keegan’s car!
I guess I’m a low-maintenance kind of guy; the heating from the dashboard vents has always been good enough for me. 💁🏻♂️. lol
I love your new you tube gear! I really enjoy vlogvember. I enjoyed this video.
I'll be so jealous if you get snow. I would love snow right now.
My next car is going to have the heated steering wheel as well as the heated seats! Our present 1 just has the heated seats.
Remote starter …….they are the bomb!

YOLO to the heated seats!
Heated seats in the UK is A very Wise investment!! Can't believe how inexpensive it is there!
Have the thermostat checked out, no new car should take 20 minutes for the heat to work
BMWs are not designed to be used in below 0 conditions.
@@villelepwhich is weird because it gets super cold where they originated.
I don't naturally expect heated seats in the car but I do consider them a bonus.
Heated seats with massage is the best
I love all your videos.

👍🌻🇨🇦🇨🇦. We had about 10 inch of snow this morning.
😏. Wasn’t excepting that.
Thanks for the video loved it ❤
Dunkin needs to sponsor you Joel!
You looking warm in that sweater
Heated seats are great! Heated steering wheel is priceless!!! Drive with arthritis.
Not to be morbid too, Joel, but I often think that if I die and someone were to look at my Google search history, they would probably wonder what I was up to 😂

Did you choose the US maps based on where you have visited? I love old maps!
😊❤ Forgot these...
Enjoyed What Was I Thinking Vid Joel :)
Hon, get the heated seats. You won't regret it.
It’s about making you comfortable, period. I don’t believe you’ll receive any extra money for resale unless you sell privately (do you do trade-ins in the UK?). Dealers give you NOTHING for after-market upgrades.
The southern US map had Indian Territory above Texas. And there were not 50 states yet
lovely couple

Joel just turn the car on 10 min before you leave I’m sure your car has an app that’s what I do 😊
Treat Northern Joel to heated seats!
Remote Starter + Aftermarket Heated Seats -
I wouldn’t do it. It seems to always lead to problems when you add it after you buy it. Just speaking from experience
I have heated seats and neil had that in his old car
Great News. i have found that kilo you lost.
😂😆
