Excellent video, the cubitron is outstanding sandpaper. the only dra back I have found is it breakdown fast on edge work. Also make sure to clean off the surface between grits as the abrasive break off (stays sharp) and is left on the surface.
I sell a lot of industrial absives and do some wood working in my spare time. I was lucky enough to be given a trial pack of the 3m extract disks. Well i wont be using convential disks again. These 3m disks are a game changer.

I agree. The Festool Granat discs are also very good. But I love the 3M mesh disc. No holes to line up.
Do you need an extra backing layer or anything to slap the 3M on the Dewalt, or does it just go straight onto the velcro?
Just straight on like any other sanding disc.
You don't need an extra layer but one of those velcro pad savers wouldn't hurt. They are a cheap way to make your sanding pad last much longer.
