Just the fact that American military capabilities are available on UA-cam for anyone in the world to see means that basically the Pentagon and DOD consider them toys. I can’t even get my head around anything that would be considered Classified.

One of the scariest things about the US is its experience in war. Say what you will about them, but look at it objectively here from a strategic point of view. No other country in the entire world has the practical experience the US has. The weapons the US has and the purpose for which they've made them are the result of experience, need, and analysis. The weapons any other country has with regard to international warfare are largely speculative or based off US weaponry.
Even ignoring the absolutely insane advantages the US has with technology, supply, global distribution and supply chain, and their nigh impenetrable physical land, their experience is incomparable to the point of comedy. It's not 4D chess. It's playing against a team of chess grandmasters while only being able to learn the rules yourself by watching curated videos they've given to you themselves.
All I know is I'm glad their culture is such that their citizens and large immigrant population make them so...connected to the world. Regardless of things like Trump or racist areas or whatever, there's no country so wildly diverse. Racism is one thing, but as a nation I can't imagine the US these days becoming anything so dangerously or ignorantly xenophobic in a meaningful way as various other nations are still capable of being.

NK supposedly has so little aircraft and fuel that they practice with wooden boxes and their arms because the real things can't be spared for training
US literally produces so many aircraft, that if new ones model-wise are needed, they finish producing the old models that were ordered and just store them out in the desert, because it is literally cheaper to finish building the original order for the vehicles than it is to just stop and switch. LITERALLY CHEAPER TO FINISH MAKING DOZENS OR HUNDREDS OF VEHICLES THAN CANCEL THE CONTRACT. Does that sound like a country to pick a fight with. It's a reason we can send so much 'inferior' equipment to our allies. It's not broken, we just have too much and we got new things.

The problem is the more I understand the international community the more I realize it's just like the old school grounds as a kid the biggest toughest baddest generally makes up the rules. When this gentleman said when the US goes to war it needs to be for the good of the community over national interests that's not true at best its half true. The US just like any country will go to war to defend its interests because otherwise the American people would not be interested in going to war its a tale as old as time and its something every country would do if they had the capability to do so.

Ehhh, not really. The American people don’t control the military decisions of this country. That’s not how it works. I’m sure you know that.

I'm about half way through this video, having watched a few more by this guy and found him entertaining, but I have to say - it really sounds like he's missed a few things out. For one thing, there's more about the Budapest Memorandum that should be said. The wording of the memorandum back in 1994 was that the US, UK and Russia pledged:
    1) to respect the independence and sovereignty and the independent borders of Ukraine.
    2) to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defense or otherwise in accordance with the charter of the United Nations.
    3) to reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the CSCE Final Act, to refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine of the rights inherent in its own sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.
    4) to reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon state party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used.
    5) to reaffirm, in the case of Ukraine, their commitment not to use nuclear weapons against any non-nuclear-weapon state party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, except in the case of an attack on themselves, their territories or their dependent territories, their armed forces, or their allies, by such a state in association or alliance with a nuclear weapon state.
Now, this guy says that "The American government managed to convince the Ukrainian government, if they gave up their nuclear weapons, they will provide military support in exchange." That makes it sound like Ukraine had a choice. It really wasn't that simple. Ukraine would have had no place at the modern table if they hadn't done what they did. And when you say that about the American government, you're kind of suggesting that the US is the main failure here. But there was never any promise of an immediate military intervention, only support. And quite obviously, the main culprit is Russia.
Russia violated the agreement in 2014 then tried to claim that taking over Crimea was justified, but it wasn't, and Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US all complained about it - the signatories in line with their commitments, I'd note. It annoys me when I see misinterpretations like this. Ukraine simply couldn't have kept its nukes back in 1994 - it wasn't a possibility. They didn't even have full control over them. There's no world in which Ukraine could have kept their nukes and therefore been permanently protected from Russian invasion. The rest of us were supposed to respect their borders - and Russia didn't, because Russia is one of the most toxic countries in the world. Sadly, lots of people don't really seem to have realised that yet. But really, Russia is one of the most malign influences on the world today. Its manipulative malevolence steretches far and wide, not only across Europe but across the Middle East and Africa. I hope to see it implode, so that millions of people across the world will stop suffering because of it.

To be fair, Russia and the US both promised Ukraine safety in exchange for the nuclear weapons. If they had not given them up Russia would have never done anything. Ukraine doesn't really feel negatively about the US btw they still like it, they are just sad that support ended late last year.
Btw the US didn't really send cash, it sent weapons and ammo that had already been built and a lot of it was old and close to having to be disposed off. The EU sent the actual cash, the US the weapons.

@@duitk Now I can comment on the US giving money to Ukraine! The house just passed 65 Billion (taxpayers money) for UKraine and I’m positive it more than what EU gave. 🙄🙄 1 country giving more than 27 countries combine is ridiculous and unjust.
