This song is so addictive!!! I love how the Horrors Pandora station plays David Bowie, the Cure, and the Strokes. They're music is like that bridge inbetween (days, lol) that modern punk esc (Strokes) and the 80s post punk bands like Joy Division and Pixies. Great stuff, Horrors!

I'm in my 50s and the lead singer is the absolute double of the singer in the band I was in back in 1977 - exact same hair and those are the exact clothes - everything :-). I don't know if it's good or bad that things don't change. For what it's worth I'm not dissing them I think it's a good song.
Chill Ladies and Gentlemen... Can you imagine how hard it is for British bands to be in the sun? Their songs are happy due to a seratonin release, but their clothes and hair haven't caught up. This is one of my favourite bands on the planet by the way.
I can not believe that this has been so overlooked especially because #TheHorrors have a special place in my heart. Talk about overlooking, i came across this by watching the fantastic #HBO show #Looking , thanks to this i been listening to #Luminous on repeat. Amazing album, amazing Band.
All their stuff to date has been excellent. Haven't heard the new album yet but this ticks all the minimum boxes. Primary Colours and Skying are both solid albums so hope the new one stands up to their thus far impeccable record. I fear though that they are in danger of becoming mediocratised by their own legacy, however each album has surprised me. They are def one of the best bands around today.

Three years later, tonight, that boy (who came out to his parents) and I had the breakup conversation he wanted to have. Again. After who knows how many times. We have a condo, a cat, a life. But things suck. It's complicated. We're gonna try. Again. And out of nowhere, I find this song. AGAIN.

the production in this video is incredible.. as of 2023 this is still really the only song i actually know by The Horrors because i mainly listen to synthwave/vaporwave and chillwave, italodisco, electronica.. but this band has amazing aesthetic no matter and being a Florida boy who's never been to California (but i have been to Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Colorado) i feel compelled to go there and specifically this town.. what is it about bare-bones desert areas that is so alluring?! i would miss the summer rains of Florida tho, and the occasional hurricane 🌀 (they're not that bad as long as they don't get to category 3, 4 & 5..).. i hope this band is still doing well currently (2023)
