Hearing differences from height of microphone and distance from microphone relative to the two speakers positioning far more then any difference in sound of A vs B. The second speaker is set higher and closer to the mic. Put the first set on risers or angled stands and bring them into the room more and I’d bet preferences would shift.
The smaller speakers seem more balanced for overall sound and better. The mids in the floor models seemed more nasal...the midrange is a more in your face.
I like the 4301s.

Both sound phenomenal. 4315 is just bigger and more bold.

A 4-way against a 2-way and the little ones win hands down......I keep the 4301 first version in alnico.

Thru Sennheiser HD 497, 4301 sounds much better !
