    I like the details you shared. Thank you I feel like it can really help. However, I think the gel polish at the end made them thick and bubbly looking. Therefore making the width stand out more. Maybe normal polish with thin layers will help better for wide nails. That's what I do and it helps. Gel polish makes them look so bulky.

    • @almantaite

I put the dual forms on and afterwards added to the wide part that did not have any poly gel. Thank you for sharing how to paint nails like this. Try it with good quality paper forms and you can use them and sculpt the gel to fit the nail as needed. Forms and sculpting are arts and can take time to learn but my biggest tip is to start with good quality forms not those cheap ones that come free with the kits on Amazon as they usually suck. Amazon does have some good forms available but they are not the kind that come free with kits usually. Good luck :)

      Sameeee…I have had bad manicure after another and I’m realizing it’s because most techs don’t account for wider nail beds. They also need to do thinner gel/coating esp with shorter wide nails to avoid this bulbous look. I’ve had only one I can think of who used this technique of not painting or applying acrylic to the side walls and it was one of my favorite looking manicures. But unfortunately she was too aggressive so I didn’t go back. I’m now experimenting at home with builder gel in a bottle to get the thin look and narrow shape I need 😭

      @nailssakramel3158  2 роки тому +3

      hi, the point of this technique is to slightly narrow the nail shape visually by doing nail plate alignment and gel coating, normally, we don't pinch the curve here; if I had wanted to change the look of these nails dramatically then I would have definitely done nail extension with clipping a C-curve💅🏻
