    You know what? As someone who lives in a place where avocados grow very easily this actually isn't a bad substitute for those that can't get them so easily.

    Could you lads do an in depth video of Rapeseed oil. Every video you have ignorant commenters who don't know the difference between industrial rapeseed and edible rapeseed. And maybe they do know the difference. I'm just trying to forgive their ignorance in the best way possible.

      It’s not about affording - maybe they want to use seasonal / local ingredients or just a great tasting alternative that’s that requires more originality / technique to prepare and serve to their customers. I’m guessing that’s why they also serve watercress pesto

      ​@@mandarinduckIts not about affordability. Avocados have a high carbon footprint because they have to be imported. Which goes against the values of Fallow resturant, who prefer to use local British produce, and minimise or eliminate waste.

      ​@@broshmoshFallow follows their policy to reduce carbon footprint and wasteful behaviours. Avocado needs to be imported there so it is bad for the environment and they use seasonal, local produce which are fresh and helps local economy too. Using brain does wonders, doesn't it?

      @@cfizzle777 Look up research papers on it. A simple google search will cite reputated scholarly articles from various universities such as colorado university, establishing that there are no inherent side effects to seed oil that are worse than any other oils.

      We make some of the most delicious rapeseed oil here in the UK. Just go for the cold pressed stuff, it's buttery and goes great in mashed potato.
