thank you
Great video! I love all the little extra tips you add in! So many of them, either, I didn't know, or, had seen, but, not really used. That inspires me to want to go try them. So, bye! LOL Thanks!
I have a problem with merging when we make another layer "lighten". they not dissolve with each other.
First of all thank you very much for this tutorial, it was very useful and perfectly explained.
The only thing I couldn't be able to do was @ 14:36 , in order to make the smoke pop out of the head. I drag the mask level on the other mask level in background copy but it didn't got me the same result..
Would you help me?
Sorry for my bad english, I'm italian
THANK YOU
Thank you
When I paint with white to go out the bounds (the smoke coming out of the head) it doesn't work. I have the right layer and mask selected, brush settings same. But when I paint it does nothing. :(
I have a question. Everything till now was working as a charm. But while trying to remove the transparency, i selected layer 2, and chose white color. (exactly as done in the video at 8: 32). But pressing Alt+ \ didn't work. I need help with it. Thank You. +photoshopCAFE
+Rohan Manvatkar that's backspace (delete key) not backslash :)

+Billy Davison Thanks!
Been looking for a new photographic project to keep me motivated through the winter months and after stumbling across this excellent tutorial today I'm definitely motivated to give this a try: the results look great! I'm aware of the True Detective intro but not yet seen any of the series itself so can't wait to check that out too. Big thumbs up man: appreciate the time and effort as well as the nudge in the right direction creatively!
+Will Guthrie Thanks Will, I'm really happy to hear that you are inspired!
photoshopCAFE Hey Colin, cheers. I've had two or three attempts at this technique now and pleased with the results so far. Still lots of experimenting to try though ;)
Brilliant
BRILLIANT!
a BIG LIKE good man
Hi, first of I'd like to thank you for this great tutorial, but I have a bit of a problem. Whenever I use the white brush to shade out part of the eyes, like 13:05, nothing happens and I have no idea why. I'd appreciate the help :)
Maybe try adjusting levels on that layer?
