Hello @BrendanWilliamsTutorials As a baseline, would you advise photographers to backlight the subject with either a strobe+softbox or window light to successfully create the double exposure effect? As well as avoid using a fill light for the shadows as illustrated in your video? Thanks in advance.
I don't say this lightly... this is one of the BEST tutorials I've found in YT. I have been looking for a tutorial that is complete and efficient for over a month now. SUBSCRIBED (and unsubscribed from others that were not this good). Many thanks!
Hi good tutorial but can you tell me why at around 3 minutes ,for the next 15 seconds you did about 6 actions very rapidly. It was very difficult to follow and i had to watch several times to understand what you were doing. Don't know if it bothered anyone else but made it very awkward for me.
I like it but everyone with tutorials only uses a subject that's standing with a clear monotone background :/ would be helpful on how to learn to take the subject out of a typical environment
Thanks! This is so helpful. I was wondering if you know whether there is some similar way to mask out the trees so accurately in Superimpose X (the app)? Let me know!
Isabel Teeuwissen I will be honest, I never have used phone apps for any cutting out or compositing work. I can’t really speak on that one unfortunately! Glad you enjoyed the tutorial!
Thanks Brendan, this is a great tutorial for another one of my favourite effects on Photoshop; well explained and great choice of images! Mind if I embed this in one of my lessons and link in my blog?
I am a student who spends most of the day with books, so I am very weak in modern technology. That's why I don't have enough time to spare for them. So I want to make covers for 3 biology, physics, chemistry books in this way. Every effort is in vain. Can anyone fix this for me? Please help me please. It has helped me beyond words.

New Subscriber! I am so excited to give this a try!!!
How do I get the background layer?
Just from creating a new project. It will automatically be added to any new document you create.
why my channel option works different
It won't let me desaturate?
классно. жаль, не все понятно.

There's a much easier way to make that layer mask selection at the beginning
please add music info :)

@@BrendanWilliamsTutorials tutto ok,grazie
An effect so simple but of the best! @kevinwillart
Definitely! The best part though is that it looks really complicated, but it totally isn't! A fun effect for all ability levels in photoshop :)
NOT DOUBLE EXPOSURE!!!
