Following that passage the next verse tells us to not only to not let sin control our lives, it also says not to give in to our sinful desires, but the next verse tells us to not let any part of our body become an instrument of evil to serve sin (Rom 6:12-13). Sin (evil) is clearly defined with sexual immortality being one of those sins (1 Corin 6:9-11), but many forget that we were all sinners who had to be cleansed, made holy, made right with God through Christ. We are given a new heart and a renewed mind (Eze 36:26). We are to put off the old self and put on the new (Eph 4:22-24). We desire to be more like Christ (John 3:30). Me saying this isn’t hating on you, but correcting you in love. Because the truth abides in love (Eph 4:15, 1 John 3:18). Also, the Lord corrects those he loves (Prov 3:11-12). And yes, if someone claims to be a Christian, then we are to correct them (Luke 17:3-4, 1 John 5:16, Gal 6:1). I hope nobody takes this the wrong way, but I just wanted to share this. I not only say this out of love for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, but I say this because each of us should know the truth and it shall set us free (John 8:32).

What needs to happen is a real Christian woman needs to walk this woman through the Scriptures and point out her wrongs privately. Then, if she doesn't listen, bring in one more person. After that, it goes to the church body. I believe that's the Scriptural approach. But the mistake is calling out sins publicly first, though it seems this woman feels no conviction of sin. Look up the functions of the Holy Spirit according to Jesus.

Yes, we all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). The person who says he has no sin is a liar who deceives himself and the truth isn’t with them, and you call God a liar(1 John 1:8-10). Yes, we are save by grace through faith and it’s not of our works, but by the gift of God through Christ (Eph 2:8-9). However, just because we are save by grace through faith, that isn’t a license to sin or freedom to do as we please (Rom 6:1-11). Following that passage the next verse tells us to not only to not let sin control our lives, it also says not to give in to our sinful desires, but the next verse tells us to not let any part of our body become an instrument of evil to serve sin (Rom 6:12-13). Sin (evil) is clearly defined with sexual immortality being one of those sins (1 Corin 6:9-11), but many forget that we were all sinners who had to be cleansed, made holy, made right with God through Christ. We are given a new heart and a renewed mind (Eze 36:26). We are to put off the old self and put on the new (Eph 4:22-24). We desire to be more like Christ (John 3:30). Me saying this isn’t hating on you, but correcting you in love. Because the truth abides in love (Eph 4:15, 1 John 3:18). Also, the Lord corrects those he loves (Prov 3:11-12). And yes, if someone claims to be a Christian, then we are to correct them (Luke 17:3-4, 1 John 5:16, Gal 6:1). I hope nobody takes this the wrong way, but I just wanted to share this. I not only say this out of love for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, but I say this because each of us should know the truth and it shall set us free (John 8:32).
