Would this be good for card openings and that type of filming?? Like straight up down and filming down towards your hands?? And if not what would you recommend??

Nice video. I just picked up the pro version, and the one thing I will say that is needed, but not included in the design is a “spring-loaded cradle for your phone. I allows the phone to pop out of the cradle if not secured by the screw that secures the phone in the cradle. Otherwise , pretty good, but when the phone is in the vertical position, you must place it in an unbalanced position, or you won’t be able to change the angle of view. So not perfect, but 4/5 stars, at best.

Great video! I just purchased the Joby GripTight Pro Telepod to see if I could use it for My Stories on Facebook and Instagram. Trying to use a microphone and/or a Lume Cube Air light. This is where I ran into issues. When I put the camera into portrait mode and used the cold shoe the clamp was very difficult to level off the iPhone. I would love to see a review video on attaching other devices to this Joby tripod and how someone experienced like yourself makes it work.

I need a tripod. It should provide 20-25 cm height. I will mouth a camcorner which is less than 500 gram. This product can reach up to 79cm. However, what is the lowest height? Could you help me?
The lowest height on this guy is about 8-10 inches. Not sure I would recommend it for a camcorder if I’m understanding you correctly. It’s designed for point and shoot and small cameras for the most part. My A7iii barely got away with it lol. Hope that helps!

Totally doable with a g7x but the telepod is mainly designed for phones. A 1k or 3k Pro GorillaPod would be your best bet 👌🏽
Would you be able to position your phone in a 90 degree position ? Shooting vertical video pointing downwards -- or would you be able to attach a different mount that has a wider range of motion?

Yup you can rotate the mount for vertical shooting! Pretty easily actually.

Amazing device - Bad customer service company.
I was a happy owner of a GripTight PRO Telepod that we used to create some of our video and photography content, unfortunately, a few days ago our Telepod had an issue with the pole that goes up and down and now does not work properly.
We were looking to repair it and we contacted Joby to get some advice just to get a disappointing answer: Sorry we can not help you...
The device was amazing and we use it for more than a year but Joby's customer service really SUCKS!
It's a shame that we had to trash it and purchase the MT-16 from Ulanzi.
