March 26th Global Geography appreciation day is officially marked in my calendar from now till forever.
Law cutting the factory (+mountain) in half was definitely my favorite part of Punk Hazard. Law knows how to give a damn good monologue, he really hypes up the future in that scene. I gotta say though, Zoro (not) cutting up Monet was almost equally amazing.

@@grennbalze That is the problem with defending your own base, you need to take care not to damage the area too much or it will be rendered uninhabitable and you will end up killing your own army. If you are on the offensive in your enemies territory you don't need to worry as much, but they have the advantage of the terrain and knowledge of it so pros and cons.

I think the full reason it's like a Pokeball is that the two of them clashed, with the majority of the blast shooting outwards (the two lines,) and then they were both propelled backwards and crashed on either side of the island. Them landing with all that force of the awakened fruit is probably what warped the terrain and weather.

A more accurate comparison is Bhopal where over 10.000 people died when a chemical factory had an accident and spilled about 30 tons of MIC into a large slum. However in the real world a gas cloud like that simply dissipates within a handful of hours due to the wind.

I think it was stated that Punk Hazard didn't have a magnetic field even before the duel, and that that was one of the reasons why they fought there: so they'd be less likely to be interrupted.

This is great timing seeing as SupermechaFrieza and AllonaShareeTV are both reacting to the arc. I love the Punk Hazard arc and the island itself. It set up so much for future OP arcs yet the arc itself is still fun and bizarre.
15:39 TBH gigantification was just a side project for Caesar, the main reason he was on Punk Hazard was to produce the SAD for Doflamingo's factory and ultimately SMILEs for Kaido.

Ironically, Yeti Cool Brothers couldn't stand the cold. So, I guess they did originally come from Punk Hazard when it was a rather tropical jungle island. And you know this the kind of joke Oda would come up with (Snowmen from a tropical island that can't stand cold weather).
I always thought a lake made sense because it was the middle ground between ice and lava/fire, like if you mixed them then only water remains.

Speaking from an 8 year experience you’re correct on the heroin withdrawals. I vomited for 15 hours every 10 minutes and my organs started shutting down from dehydration.
Punk Hazard really felt like a truly desolate landscape and the cause of the insane weather phenomenon is just great world building.

I believe that when we saw an orrery of the OP world and we saw that missing chunk of moon of one of the moons that orbit the OP world I believe that perhaps Pluton fired at the moon and that chunk fell into the blue sea and became Punk Hazzard which is why this island that no standard electromagnetic signature.
On November 13th you should do a geography is everything about the entire one piece world. How the red line affects it and how everything meshes together, that’d be awesome

Remember how Armament Haki has two different attack/defence elements to it as explained by Rayleigh?
So what if the Armament Haki imbued into a black sword is only the defensive part of Armament Haki. That way Zoro's swords would never be able to break or rust and can even nullify the effects of Shu's Rust-Rust fruit since they are imbued with defensive armament haki.
That way the swords are in fact more durable and do not have the attacking armament haki ability of damaging logias (Monet)
Matt, if a magnet gets too hot, the aligned electrons that give it it's magnetic field jiggle too much and throws them out of alignment, destroying the magnetic field. The same probably happened here.
Man when you think about it 2 logia users changed the landscape of an island permanently. I wonder if this is why everything unique about each island was because of a devil fruit user like Alabasta is a dessert island because of the sand sand fruit? Imagine for each generation of the a logia user constantly changes the terrain of islands he land on, it would be their own ecological advantage.

Tekking, you keep forgeting one of Caeser's more obvious quirks in that he's a sadist. None of his weapons killing anyone outright is an intentional design flaw as he wants the victims to panic and suffer as much as possible before they die.

Punk Hazard probably never had a magnetic field to begin with which is probably why the WG chose it to do secret lab experiments on. Hell maybe it was artificially created by the WG so its not easily found.
