The funniest thing about Sanji's training is how he learned Sky Walk. He ran and ran from the okama and when there was nowhere to run, he ran UP, and that's how he learned Sky Walk.
And the funny thing is that the Newkamas serves as commeupance for being a pervert

To be honest, how Oda drew the Okama in Kamabaka might just be how Sanji remembers the hell he was in.
So they might look more human to other people?
@@SlashinatorZ Oda does make his hugely impactful characters literally huge too. The ugly ones often have major pain and/or serious personal problems. Making Sanji's nightmarish memories taint how he remembers the people of Kamabaka looking is on point too.

One Piece really reaches every aspect in social life such as, slavery, racism and sexuallity! i love it!
Personally, I was a bit disappointed by Momoiro Island...
When we met Queen Iva in NKK everyone was was unique and had their own flavor of freak. It was fun seeing all different kinds of people letting their freak flag fly, different styles, different looks, and all kinds of different misfit shit going on. Momoiro just felt like a bunch of stereotype drag creeps and the Kama crew went from fun, unique and inclusive to being just offensive and kinda boring. It would've been funny if I never saw NKK, or hadn't met Ivankov yet.. or if it turned out to be a skewed vision of how Sanji sees them (that's my headcanon. The cartoonish and garish designs are just Sanji overreacting.) or something like that. Momoiro just felt very one note and bland and honestly didn't feel like an island the Ivankov we were introduced to would actually rule over. It was just a bunch of unkempt buff ugly dudes in dresses and makeup... Ivankov in NKK had style and there were men, women and everything in between, there were crazy outfits and plain ones, it was a fun party.
I wouldn't mind revisiting Momoiro at some point.. maybe the way we saw it was how Caroline liked to have things... Ivankov was gone for a long time... enough for a new ruler to make some changes or introduce a new style or whatever..
I'd just like to see what a full blown New Kamabaka Kingdom would look like as an island. Crazy parties and silly and unique individuals... etc. I'm down for that.
tekking: if Sabo or vivi get put into impel down bon clay can return into the story helping them to escape. this can also mirror pre timeskip and boa can also get stuck there like jinbei before also bon clay can become a revolutionary.
I can see that cus that gives more a reason for bon to see luffy again (ofc the other crew probably might not approve like zoro nami sanji possibly robin cus she worked with the guy too) but I can see it being a happy reunion in which bon wouldnt make another sacrifice cus at least this time hes not alone hes got a group he follows and hey maybe as being part of the group he can help luffy and his crew on their adventures anytime

I've been studying english for more than four years and If there is one thing I should be immensely grateful to is One Piece. My passion for this series made me stumble upon your channel aomething like two years ago (or even more) and since then Tekking101 you've been present on this journey remarkebly. In my last vacation I went to Peru to get to know Machu Pichu and stuff and there I met with two guys one of them was an Amercan and the other one was British and beacause of you I managed to speak in english with them considerably well in terms of fluency and the complimented me saying that my accent was almost imperceptible. So that's why I'm here to say thank you my youtube friend Mathew!!

I think the people of Kamabaka Kingdom were drawn that way partly because it was Sanji who we were seeing that from. Like that was how Sanji would see them. But, Oda has also said that if you are a “bad” person at some point (especiallly women) your looks will take a turn for the worse, and that that is actually largely an artistic choice to portray the badness in their heart/spirit and may not be actually how they would normally look. So since they were trying to force Sanji to cross dress they had badness in them and were portrayed like that, and because it was Sanji who was seeing them

came across this looking through your playlists, didnt expect a complete understanding of multiple sexuality/gender related topics. very glad you brought up kiku, shes one of my favorite characters. at first i was really pissed at how overdone the okama were, but obviously that was many years ago. kiku is proof that oda has gotten better with how he creates characters like that over the years. the okama thing can be funny, but it was so overused. as a trans girl im happy to see that oda was actually gonna make good representations of what most trans people are like. anyway, great video, keep up the good work.

A basic common rule for testing, sample it on your hands and see how it blends and feels. Nothing worse than having one cheek covered in an uncomfortable chemical.

Hi Tekking! I found your Chanel through your class 1A character discussion videos a year back from now. After finishing that playlist of videos you had become my favorite UA-cam and so I wanted to watch more of your videos. The only problem was that you mainly focused on One piece (a story I hadn’t read/watched) but sense I wanted to watch more of your videos (with context) I decided to read trough the entirety of one piece.

I wonder, what if the merchant tekking bought that balloon with the i love you written on it is also a fan of him.
I can imagine the expression on his/her face as he/she asks "is it a gift for your gf this valentines?" And tekking having no idea it's his fan would just say yes, then later that fan find out that the balloon was only a prop for tekking's video.
If Luffy would hear even a rumor that Bon Clay is still alive, he would burst into Impel Down without second guessing to rescue his friend. There's already so much between those two that I would be more surprised if he didnt ask him to join his crew. Bon Clay for Straw hats! ✌🌈
