Yea! Happy Gawai! I'm just celebrating it at home with the wife!
@@GlobalGibbon Selamat Gawai Dayak ke kita sebilik... Ooooooohhhhhaaaaaa
UA-cam algorithm is good. I’ve been away from Kuching for 17yrs now living in the USA. It’s cool to see videos from the home town
It's great this video found you! I have many fun videos about Malaysia!
Yea it’s nice to take a glimpse of home after being away for so long
Nice and sincere video. Was hoping to know more as which part of Malaysia u choose to settle and what u do for living.
I moved to Kuching, in Sarawak. I've lived here for most of the 10 years I have been in Malaysia. I have also lived in Miray for 2 years. I have worked in the Tourism Sector from the beginning. I'll be making more related videos in the coming months.
Thoroughly enjoyed this introduction & looking forward to view more videos!👍😊
Thanks for your kind words! Feel free to watch other videos on my Channel. I upload a new video every week.
Great story !
Malaysia is on our list of countries we’d like to visit as a possible retirement place. The only downside for us is the heat and humidity. Maybe we need to try the Cameron Highlands.
Thx !
Cameron Highlands is a great option. It's nice and cool there! Another option is Bario in Sarawak or Kundasang in Sabah.
Nowadays solar power is more readily available, invest in it and have the aircond blasting the entire day, you don't have to limit your options only to the few highlands :)

We will be renting so we wont be buying solar panels. Thx
Ahhh sorry, when you said retiring I immediately assume that you'd do what others usually do in such situation, settle down in a house of their own, but each has own reasons and own ways. Well, best wishes in your plans! 👍
Genting highlands too !
Nice and inspiring vlog. Hope you enjoy the diversity of Malaysia and happily ever live here 👍

Well said! No one, and no country is perfect. However, the combination of Malaysian people/food/nature makes it feel pretty perfect to me here!
