Where do you pour the water after mopping? I don’t have a laundry room sink, know not to put down the kitchen or bathroom sinks and the thought of pouring down my toilet is gross. Yuck! Pour outside?
I'd just like to point out that with all the commercials on TV showing people dancing around their washing machines and inhaling their freshly laundered clothing as if the smell of fresh fabric were some kind of intoxicant, we've lost sight of how important dirt is to our survival. Ask any farmer - you can't grow a decent sweet potato in a pile of Tide Detergent!!!!
Mop the floors of the quieter rooms once every 2 weeks? Eww…what is next? Change bed linens or clean the toilet (from tank to base) every 2 weeks? I am not a clean freak but no matter how clean to the eye, the house gets deep cleaned top to bottom once a week.
Interesting info and doable too
I love cleaning. If you want to avoid chemicals just use different combinations of water, dish soap and vinegar for everything.
