Genestealers are not an army im interested in, but just watching you use your techniques and tips helps me improve as a painter. So i'll watch whatever you are painting.
Yes I’ve been waiting for ages!! 🎉 Love the way you painted them! It will be very helpful for when I paint my Atalan Jackals. I tip my hat to you good sir!
Insane to not only paint GSC’s to a high standard, but to present your painting in such an easily digestible and easy to follow manner. I know a few folks who wouldn’t ever want to touch GSC’s due to the (understandably) perceived notion that they’re just a LOT to paint, but I think with this video anyone would have the ability to give it a great go.
I thought the same way. I avoided GSC because I thought they are too Much hassle to paint. This was one of the reasons I wanted to do a tutorial on them. Now I want to collect an army haha 😆
Thanks for this ... Some excellent pointers. I am going back to find some of your earlier tutorials ... I think I need to begin there. Models look amazing - well done.
Actually I thought of something absolutely funny as a new cult player. Painting my Genestealer cultists like starship troopers because it’s funny and if you’ve seen the first 3 films you’ll understand why. BTW I love your videos, professional but able to teach less experienced painters without driving them mad.
Thanks for being realistic about the time it will take for me to go through your tutorial. 2-3 weeks seems about right now that I’m about to start priming.
Highlighting is such a challenging thing for me personally the few times I have painted. The only 40K army Im really interested in is GSC though so I feel like I'm going to have to get some and just do my best with it
I do have a dedicated video talking about highlighting :) it may help. at the end of the dday though its going to patience and practice that will help you improve :D
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam Definitely, I need to get a hold of some old models on ebay or something to practice on so that I don't have to practice on a unit I've saved up for lol
This is VERY useful, I am converting some Jackal bikes for Tetras with kroot riders lol. I need to figure out a way to have an arm with the high intensity markerlights, might actually buy a few of those quad' mounted weapon arms and mount those to the bike somehow.
Yeah! Got 4 bikes off Ebay, I want to dabble with them being Knarlock Riders too, i think both Tetras and Knarlocks are both on a 60mm base... but I'll have to figure out a way to represent the insane melee of Riders AND the tetras pulse rifle haha. Maybe magnets.@@TableTopReadyUA-cam
Thank you for this tutorial. Actually started painting my first Recruit box using your tutorial and a year later I'm sitting in front of 120 semi-assembled Genestealer Cultists. I did a lot of magnetizing which I want to take advantage of for sub assembly painting. What is that little adhesive cube you use to attach them to the Jenga piece? Looka a lot more sturdy that the little balls of blue tack I'm using.
Ooo hopefully you can get those genestealer cult painted now. They were so much fun to paint and not too difficult either. I have a video explaining about how I assemble and undercoat. I talk about using your sprues
Can you do black legion csm? I'd be so grateful! I want to play warhammer but your tutorials are great and love to use your methods for my abbadon and the gang

Such a neglected topic for painting tutorials. You've done a great job and hopefully it inspires more people to collect GSC!
Thank you 🙏🏻 these were so much fun that I want to do an army myself now 😋

😃I’m glad you liked the tutorial
Iv got 3 boxes of bikes to paint. But never felt confident to start them. This was the push I needed :D
Awsome. Good luck 😁
I'm a simple man, I see GSC, and I smash that like button 👍
Thank you. I'm also a simple man :)

Can you make a video that shows how to do the base for these? They look awesome!
thank you. if you look in the description there is a link to a #short on how I do the bases
Would love to see you do Deathwing Terminators sometime. Maybe when the new kit drops 🙂👍
🤭 maybe I will

That’s a good idea. I’m sure there’s lots of places to get separate bits

I missed the part: „…paint it in no time at all…“ :D
I’m must have forgot to put it in 🤔
Nice vid thank you! One question how do you do the handles for the painting?
I've done a video on getting my miniatures ready for painting :) it goes through hwo I do it
