I really like the changes in this mode! Every game I would hit every optional objective and end up well prepared because it literally told me where it was at. Taking away the map not only cleaned up the hud, but made it much more engaging to explore around the regions as unless you decide to dedicate memory to every possible optional objective location, you have to explore as much as you are comfortable with and face risk and rewards, which is what Zombies should be. I was worried that Melee Tier V would be broken in this mode since it gives you a way to regen health, but it is balanced with how risky melee is and how hitting a zombie with melee and it hitting you essentially punishes you for poor play as you just only essentially take half of the damage received (15 heal - 30 damage = -15, 25 heal - 50 damage = -25), similar to Tier V Jug or Tier V Quick Revive is on Cranked. Yes, it will help you, but it won't break the game and instead puts you in a very vulnerable position Treyarch is really listening to the community with this game and I hope that if they do, I hope they add an option in the settings to turn the mini map off.
I just completed Main Quest 1 in Survival (to be fair, it wasn’t much of a flex simply because I just so happened to get a fully leveled up M16, though the attachments weren’t completely ideal since I can’t apply blueprints), and I searched for reviews on UA-cam to see what the community was thinking. I have to say, personally? I LOVED my experience there. I was genuinely tense even on round 1, because I simply wasn’t used to being conservative in terms of engagements. Plus, the lack of minimap really didn’t help in terms of finding side objectives and getting enough resources to fully upgrade my character. All things considered, this was absolutely awesome, and I felt very proud and satisfied to have completed MQ1 in Survival, because it really wasn’t that easy
I really like this game mode so far! My favorite feature has to be the removal of the mini map. Even though I actively use it in normal round based zombies I would love an option to get that ugly thing off my screen. Awesome video 👍👍👍
am i the only one that doesn't like swimming in the ocean in armada? everytime i swim in the ocean i take a glimpse to the dark void underneath you and panic strikes me.
Personally i dont like the mode. It feel lazy and artificially difficult. I dont find it difficult. Just boring and uninspired. I feel frustrated because they made a semi big deal about. Zombies already barely gets content so getting the same gamemode but tiny, uninteresting changes is just frustrating.
I'm glad a lot of people like this mode, it's good news for cold war. But I don't get the hype for it. I've played it enough to do the numbers event plus another match or two and I didn't really enjoy myself. I really like regular outbreak, and this was just a slower version of that it felt like.
