Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing is made of cold-formed steel profiles which generally have C, Z and omega cross-sections for increased stiffness. LGS framing has excellent properties such as being a light, environmentally friendly, recyclable and rapid construction system. In combination with fiber cement boards cladding and non autoclaved lightweight aerated concrete insulation lgs construction system is solid and durable.
Steel framed house would normally be built on a reinforced concrete ground floor slab. The ground floor wall panels would then be fastened and held down to the ground floor slab. The second storey floor bearers would then sit on the top of load bearing walls. These bearers would connect and carry the floor joists. The floor joists would in turn carry the floor boards and the wall panels above. The roof trusses would then sit on the wall panels to carry the roof system and roof loads.
There is a misconception by some that cold formed steel (CFS) should only be used for interior framing or non-structural building elements - but that’s not the full extent of its capabilities. Far from it. CFS delivers many advantages in the construction of structural, load bearing walls as well.
Cold formed steel, also known as light gauge steel or LGS, is deployed worldwide for structural framing, in buildings of all sizes and purposes. These include multi-story projects, meeting engineering compliance to local design and building codes and to last as long as any building erected using traditional materials.
Because CFS, with the help of technical software, can be engineered and designed to be load-bearing, and because of its unique physical characteristics, CFS makes for a superior structural framing material.
How do you fit C profile into U profile? Does one have to be slightly bigger to go through or you force it through?

What is the function of the extensible walls on hinges? Seems like once the roof panels and end wall has been added it won't be very modular without significant disassembly

Never understood why steel frame a home then use plywood? I would use forms of aircrete around the frame.

@@GlossaME yes, but wood is 1-1/2" thick, steel is 1/16" (or less), do the math.
Its all about the insulation you put in there, steel will have a lot more insulation, however, wood is a pretty good insulator all by itself.
UAE is very HOT, just like me in Florida, not worried by heating load, but by cooling load.
