So no family makes a wasted trip with their kids to the buffet, per the casino's website: Only guests 21+ permitted on property as of 01 July 2022. Island View casino in Gulfport, MS has implemented the same policy.
I know this was back in 2019, but my family and I went there on June 2021 and stayed at the hotel for 1 night. We decided to try out the buffet but apparently it seems like they increased the price, now it costs *$49.95* per person for the buffet!! Now there were 4 of us so we would have to pay about $200 total w/o tax but thank goodness we were given 2 free buffets, but we still had to spend about $100 ($110 or so after tax), they even charged our little brother (5 almost 6) $49.95! The food wasn’t even that great, I mean the crabs were ok but almost everything else was terrible, for whatever reason the pizza tasted very sweet, the roast beef was just super duper dry, I couldn’t even take a bite out of it or cut it without any difficulty!! The only thing I like was the cake and fruit, everything else pretty much was just a big no no! I’m sure it used to be the best buffet in Mississippi but I don’t know what happened- I would rather just eat the club sandwiches they have at the Palm Court Cafe there instead!!

Hey David!! Love your violin playing in the beginning LOLOL!!!! And the buffet showing in the background! It was perfect LOL!!! This buffet looked really good, and good thing you got there early, because at 4 pm there was already a line! $32.95/person wasn't bad for all the food you got to try! Looks like there was a good amount of crab and shrimp and also the brisket and fried chicken looked good! There was definitely lots of variety and the salad bar looked good as well! So cool they had a funnel cake station.. We would have got one of those for sure! That sucks they didn't have Sriracha, but at least you had tobasco!! Even though it can't compare!! LOLOL!! It was very sweet of you to crack the crab for your wife, since she had her hands full with the kids!! We can't even imagine having to wrangle children while trying to eat!! Hats off to you guys! Thanks for posting. Practically heath and hygiene point of view speaking, ALL BUFFETS in the world must have servers to put food on plate for guests. At the buffets, I often saw some people leaking all whole fingers, wipe mouths with hands, dirty napkin reusing . Then go and hold the serving utensilss to get food again. Just imagine the next person in line using that same utensils....???. Surely there are some people totally don't have table manners and control...

No it is not we went last night and it was disgusting. The corn crawfish chowder was spoiled. The steak which they did not have enough cooked tasted like dish soap.i did not eat anything. The cold food was hot the hot food cold. Do not I repeat do not go there. We did not pay it was comped for birthday. But to charge these prices and your seafood taste horrible no. It was good few years ago but not now. And they need to hire people who want to work. The supervisor over the buffet was rude af when I told her about the spoiled chowder. She was like whatever. Quite a few diners I spoke with felt the same. Bye forever Silver Slipper. Until you get your shit together.

Practically heath and hygiene point of view speaking, ALL BUFFETS in the world must have servers to put food on plate for guests.
At the buffets, I often saw some people leaking all whole fingers, wipe mouths with hands, dirty napkin reusing . Then go and hold the serving utensilss to get food again. Just imagine the next person in line using that same utensils....???.
Surely there are some people totally don't have table manners and control...

No it is not we went last night and it was disgusting. The corn crawfish chowder was spoiled. The steak which they did not have enough cooked tasted like dish soap.i did not eat anything. The cold food was hot the hot food cold. Do not I repeat do not go there. We did not pay it was comped for birthday. But to charge these prices and your seafood taste horrible no. It was good few years ago but not now. And they need to hire people who want to work. The supervisor over the buffet was rude af when I told her about the spoiled chowder. She was like whatever. Quite a few diners I spoke with felt the same. Bye forever Silver Slipper. Until you get your shit together.
