Most middle-aged foreigners in Beijing are from big companies working with the Chinese government and are making lots of money. I think the $48K/mo might have been $48K/yr instead, but the $17K/mo I believe. But overall, it seems like they are making around $2800/mo, which is very close to US national average salary before 2019. But these are skilled IT in Beijing--and they only make 40% of counterpart in US. China is growing fast but still some catching up to do.
There was a shop owner, she can probably make 48k usd as an entrepreneur
As the cost in China is much lower, the 40% less will go a long way.
@@tonyhickq Nope, you cant survive with $2.8K monthly salary here in U.S. Average annual salary in the U.S is around $70K to $80K currently. But bigger cities like San Francisco and NYC it is somewhere around $150K-$200K. I make $120K as a UPS driver. Been driving for 5 years now.
There's no catching up to do. You're comparing a salary of a country 5x cheaper than US. China is the richest country by GDP based on purchasing power parity since 2018.
Yeah but you need to put in consideration the cost of living
Please keep these videos coming! They're so informative 🤗
More to come!
@@ChinaAdmissions These videos are from Kiun B. Are you stealing from someone’s work? Did you ask her for permission? If you don’t have someone’s permission and post their videos as yours then you are essentially stealing someone’s hard work and time. This why China has a bad reputation for stealing and copying.
This was surprisingly wholesome to watch
that's actually quite a decent pay compared to my country. it's like 4x more. considering the cost of living of my city and Beijing is almost identical, so it's worth it.
The overall cost of living in China is still much lower than the west.
You should ask those ordinary workers in Shenyang.
Thanks, we should do that
It would have been better if you only asked Chinese people and also in places outside Sanlitun
Just from the figures alone, I can tell it was 90% english teacher salaries.
Very nice explanation and the open/cute attitude!
Very interesting and you are SO CUTE!!
Much love from Uganda East Africa 🌍 china's infrastructure and transportation system is the world's best
Only if you like the little guy to have no power. It is hard to get a license to drive even if you can afford a car.
@@namehidden8854No, no,no. Everyone has a driver's license.
It's really hard@@yueli-ww2lf
I find it so cute the way they teach tones
wow nice video i love chaina country and people...😍😍😍😍😍
I'll come out of retirement and do a few years provided they are willing to pay competitive US wages. Got to be in smaller cities though. The big cities are just too crowed and to me it is not worth it (style of living).
Do people exaggerate a little when asked how much they make?
😂😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤
Any way 加油👏🏼小妹妹❤❤
Why would you reveal the earnings in such a noisy enviroment ,
Super market girls in Beijing earns 3500 yuan
A week or month?
That's less than $500 I just looked it up. Baller!!
@@Will.Flavellmonths... Dude.. months... 😢 That's why developed nation are being admired. Now after my family company bankruptcies, this started to be my interest cause weekly salary in sweden, canada/USA are lotta higher than cubicle job in developing country/3rd world
How much does engineering earn /month... mechanical engineer
im.from india.living in china.. i make 13000rmb 😅
its.not.much but if you see a.good income.for.a.chinese in china is around 8-9k rmb a month
so.its.fine
13000rmb monthly?
@@_CatalystGuy yes
Damn impressive! but not much?? If you're from India, you should've known that That amount of income a king for half of asia (minus korea and japan part of expensive chinese city) ah, maybe you're worked in those expensive district yes? Or you're fell to "vanity temptation" like every middle class ever 😂
@@MaseraSteve thanks for the good words
but that.... i think bigger and in 13000rmb per month seems not much to me as i have to support my family too and that's why i said 13000 is a good income in china..i mean decent comparing to other chinese people so its fine
@@bsnsbsmsb5233 ah, family now i see didn't think of that before. I get it know, heard of the cost for raising a family is getting bit higher each decades, no wonder people getting less kids and delay marriage these day. My ex boss is a man working as bank manager who are still struggling to raise 2 of his kids!! Wow back in 90's this job is known for well paying and secure, but now isn't..
Also have an acquaintance with this swallow bird nest trader who supports 2 of his wife including in-law and 2 of his kid with something equivalent to 35500rmb every months!!! Crazy
average salary in BJ is 12k/mo so everyone apart from the last one is above average
Anyone with a college degree is above average, basically.
Everybody wants to make Kiun their wife lol. She’s so beautiful
She reminds me of a young Maggie Cheung.
@@viviandarkbloom8847 I can see it 😮
Actually big no . Only those Chinese guys ..... For other people she's mid . Not beautiful 😂
i thought all the millionaires are gone?
Wow so most beautiful City in Beijing ilove Beijing people nice city 🌆🌆 Beijing

are this salaries per month ?
48k would be per year
@@marikizof8044Same in most of the East Asian if u are fluent in English. A Japanese UA-camr who studied in the US said that he earns 300usd more than his other Japanese colleagues even though they have same expertise in their field. Speaking English gives who a very big advance in job market in the Asian countries. China has a huge amount of multinational corporation just like South Korea and Japan. That's why they prioritize people who can speak good English and also offer higher salary to them.
You should ask the local Beijing people. Not the foreigners or expats.
This is a shameless paid China doll
This channel is made for students who are interested to study in China. So after completing their education there some of them might want to work their as an expat. So I think they did the right thing to ask the foreigners not the native Chinese since the salary of a foreigner is higher than a Chinese person with same level of experience.
😍❤️🙏
Keep Going ❤
Why they keep wearing a mask
why not? asia always used masks even before covid, pollution is high there, why u wouldn't wear a mask? u don't care about your own health?
There are 2 billion people and and a govt that probably bends the truth 99% of the time better to be safe
If you have problems to speak Chinese you can use translater 😅
This girl is a bit slow in some ways? 😂
CHINA ??????
@@Jayjay-2007 Indians ? What a stupid comment. Then all Parkistanian people are Indian?😂
The girl is Chinese. I don't know why she saying she's russian 😂. That's ridiculous 😂
Highly doubt it. Probably lies
I work in a sixth tier small city in China, and my monthly income after tax is approximately $1600. Beijing must be much taller
Don't be deceived by Western media anymore. Get to know the real China!
It's always that one guy in the west.
Those are really high salaries for beijing
@@plusultra7258 Did the chinese gov give you're salary yet for the work you put in on the internet?
Beijing has over 20 million people, it is the capital city, there are a hell of a lot of rich people in Beijing dude.
