I haven't come across anyone making a video on skincare for 60's. Dear Dr. V I seriously hope to hear from you soon:)
I will do so soon x
Yes, Dr V. Please make video on 60's skincare. I always see my mom go through many problems.
YES!! Please I’m 63 and I’ve seen a looseness and sagging around my chin and deepening wrinkles on my forehead and I need advice!
Yes that would be wonderful!
Yes ! Pls . Turning 60 soon.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. As a man of color hitting his “midlife crisis” years (52, to be exact), this information is proving invaluable! I’m ordering your book today, and upon my perusal, your book will be on many of my closest friends and families Christmas lists.
I literally feel like I manifested this video for my mom this morning after I watched the Skincare in your 20s video. Wow! These help so much. 🌻
AM:

PM:

Truly thank you for your service to SOC family! Truly appreciate your honesty and your integrity in and through all that you do, not being sponsored, and keeping your priorities so pure and with integrity!
I just turned 50 and have used Kheil's products for the last 10 years, I love their Vitamin C and moisturizer, but wanted to experiment a bit with other brands for my 50's. I wash and tone with Naturium's Niacinamide cleanser and follow with Timeless Vitamin C and Naturium Niacinamide then In Your Face moisterizer (its so good) and Elta's mineral sunscreen. At nights it's Timeless Coenzyme Q10, the Ordinary retinol, Estee Lauder Night serum and then a Cica cream. I use Philosophy's Vitamin C resurfacing peel twice per week, but I'll not be buying again. I do make a mask with tumeric, honey, lemon juice, greek yogurt and pea flour that leaves my skin soft and beautiful. I'm just about done with my Ordinary Retinol with squaline and I didn't love it, so I'm about to start Retrinal from Avene and their Tolerance cream. I'll report back in a month or so on howit works. Happy 50's ladies 🥰
Hi Simone can you tell me your results it will be greatly appreciated
I hope we'll get to see a skincare routine for 60s soon! Love your videos. Thank you so much for making skincare so easy for us. Lots of love! 💕
Geek ans Gorgeous Agame ( 5 or 10) is my go to!!! I am 50 and only started my skincare journey a year ago. Totally tourned thing around. My skin looks better than ever and only using otc retinols, vit c, and moisturaisers. No need to spend a lot to make a big difference. Thanks for your videos, I have learned a lot from you!!! Regards from Croatia!
❤️❤️
I am 46 and my skin is pretty much like an unlimited oil reserve. Almost comparable to a teenager skin, even the slightest heavy/ occlusive product will immediately cause breakouts, pimples etc. So instead of using a sealant like facial oil or vaseline I use ceramide sprays both as a toner and as a final step after peptide & Tretinoin. Helps to lock in hydration without turning my face into a grease ball.
Which Spray do you use . Do you buy in a drug store.
❤️
Geek&Gorgeous has A game serum with RetiNAL, and they ship internationally. Very reasonable price, so even after shipping fee, I think it is still more affordable than others ( such as Avene RetriNAL for example). I'm using it and like it a lot.
Thanks Dr V! 50s girl here appreciating all the valuable info🙌🏽🤩
❤️
Dr V. Please make video on 60's skincare. I always see my mom go through many problems. like wrinkles, melasma, dryness, under-eye darkness. Help us understand skin of 60's.
Sure
We don’t appreciate you enough 😭 Thank you so much!! Because of you I can recommend product to people with acne and know what i am recommending is Nate safe. 🙌🏻
❤️❤️
Can you discuss skin routine for a.m and p.m and show the products (affordable brands)you recommend for 60 and older.
It would have helped if you had shown actual images for what you recommended
I just watched this just now and a THD that I’ve been loving is Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Brightening Serum. This also has Ferulic Acid. I hope Dr. V’s still able to read my comment even though this video was made a year ago.
I would also love to see a 60’s video. Thank you Dr. V! I love your videos. 💜
Please do a video for hair and scalp routine and how it changes every decade (just like skincare).
Please give us more information on healthy scalp and hair health and the required diet and supplements for the same.
Also educate us on what ingredients to look for, for different hair and scalp issues and what to avoid along with your valuable product suggestions.
Thank you
Can't wait for all your products to release. Waiting to try them all.
All the best...!!!
I couldn't be more greatful for your contribution.
Love from India
Sure
Hoping to see a video in skin care for your 60’s! I’m trying to help my mom curate a great routine for her skin
Hello- Can you list the products you recommended or perhaps link them?
Doctor, just in case you
may have forgotten today,
..
..
you are stupendous!
Marula oil though a great antioxidant and current fav in skin trends as the ordinary started to sell..is high on comedogenic rating..can clog pores easily..clogged pores aka more peeling or exfoliation needed..I personally prefer argan and rosehip oils blend for my night routine..skin is very elastic in the morning.
I would also like to see a video of caring for combination skin. Thank you.
Purchased! New sub, I've been following for a few months and love your content. Can't wait to start Dark Circles treatment (Finally a treatment for me!)
Very useful information Dr. V. As a person in my 50s heading to 60, your advice has helped me to reduce my hyperpigmentation (been a long process) and I am loving my skin tone. I am a little hesitant using a home acid so get this done professionally every six weeks - eight weeks. Thank you so much. I needed you at least ten years ago.
🤎
Hi! What do you get done professionally every 6 weeks?
@@sialee5926 Hello, I get a chemical peel.
😳🥺
@@vanitarattan please review Morpheus8 🙏🏽💕
Hi Dr V I use a retinaldehyde from geek and gorgeous Agame (available in a 0.05 and a 0.1%). I believe it is NAFE SAFE and it works really well on my hypersensitive, rosacea and eczema prone skin. For those in Europe and the UK it is an excellent choice. They do ship internationally, but postage costs may be an issue. I have been using retinoids for several years and at 50 I tolerate the higher strength fairly well, but I do have both strengths and apply whichever I think my skin will tolerate best that evening. It's around £15 for 30mls, so for this ingredient that isn't too expensive compared to many others. I also like their calm down exfoliant as a gentle option with a PHA and small amount of BHA blend.
Obviously during a rosacea flare etc I don't apply a retinoid, but I use it regularly when my skin is fairly calm. Underneath it I use the Niod modulating glucosides for extra calming benefits. I also use the Avene physiolift eye cream (the eye version does not contain fragrance) after applying a thin layer of vaseline at the lashline - to stop any migration of the retinaldehyde into the eye itself. Having rosacea I'm very prone to eye irritation and dry eye anyway, so I find this very helpful (I apply it with a cotton bud right at the lashline in a small amount). I hope others find this helpful. x
I just started the same product last week. I've yet to reach the point of tolerating a retinol/retinaldehyde product used more than once weekly. Maybe this stuff will change that.
@@pamelagileno5483 I hope so. If not then look at a retinaldehyde product formulated for the eye area - it’s a weaker strength and may be good for building tolerance in the skin. Both Avene physiolift eye and the beauty of Josean eye product are good options. I would suggest however that not everyone can use every ingredient (no matter how beneficial they are for other people). If you just can’t tolerate retinoids then there are other ingredients you may tolerate better and having constantly irritated skin is worse than not using a retinoid for aging. Inflammation is aging and worsens pigment issues, so if you’re still experiencing issues try switching to something else. I personally cannot tolerate vitamin c in either pure form or derivatives and just avoid using it. I use other antioxidants instead. Hope that helps x
Hi Dr V When will the FACIAL PIGMENTATION KIT, DARK CIRCLES KIT, and the sunglasses be back in stock? Thanks 🙏🏽
Very soon

Thanks Dr V, could you do a video for over 70's skin of colour, day and night recommendations.. Also, would be good to know if anything in your current range would be good for this age.
Thank you Dr. V but It would have been clearer if you had listed in sequence the product to be used, just like you did in the video of how to layer products for hyperpigmentation. You could do same for age 50s.
In this video you just randomly talked of products for 50s.
Dear Dr. V can you please do a show for 60 years old. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️❤️❤️

Hi dr V! Thank you for another informative video! I'm watching to help my mum with her skincare. A few months ago I purchased the geek and gorgeous retinaldehyde for her and I think that one is nafe safe. Not irritating at all even around the eyes!
❤️
Which strength did you buy for your mum.
Which strength did you buy for your mum
@@samiraasad804 I bought the 0.1%. The website says the 0.05% may be used around the eyes but the only difference between them is the percentage of retinaldehyde so if you're careful and introduce it slowly I think it should be fine around the eyes as well. Hope that helps!
@@laurag1477 Thank you so much for responding and explaining in detail. I am thinking of purchasing this product too.
The one off the top Retinal it's geek & gorgeous game 5, it's very nice and gentle 😍,thank you for your great video

The products listed on your site or available to purchase are for all age groups. There aren't any specific products for mature skins like in the 50's or 60's. Percentage of ingredients in products increases as we age but you have the same products for all ages. What about the products for women in their 50's & 60's?
Hi great video. I do not take supplements instead every morning my boost of collagen is that i squeeze a grapefruit or orange into my water along with lemon .

Dr V, what concentration of retinaldehyde will you be putting in the antioxidant serum?! Thank you 🥰
I emailed their team. They said 0.2 percent in their facial pigmentation kit. But not sure they got confused with 0.02. They have still to confirm.
@@meenaxi53 0.2% in facial kit. I'm investigating which % combinations work best in the anti oxidant serum as I'll use all 3 Vit A options.
@@vanitarattan hi many thanks for confirming. I was looking at medik8 but just saw your review on this brand lol.

Hi Dr. V, I was wondering if I could get your opinion about a product, it is by a Ranavat - RANAVAT Radiant Rani Brightening Saffron Serum. It's quite a pricey product, but was wondering if you had heard about it and if you think it's worth the buy.

Dr V! I have Lupus and psoriatic arthritis so my skin is so dry and I get dry patches where hair grows and creates ingrown hair under my chin. I use cosentyx every 28 days.
