It's not really the mage class of genshin, it's just that we've just been getting mages at the start. Catalyst are more of the miscellaneous weapon type. So basically there are the sword, polearm, claymore, bow and catalyst is anything else. Just like the imaginary element in honkai star rail, it can be the void(welt) element, light(Yukong), water(Imbibitor Lunae), vines(Luocha) etc...

They should make more characters with unique weapons for other weapons as well, imagine a rifle as a bow weapon. As long as they maintain the characteristic of a bow.(NA physical damage, aim, infused charged shot) I see no reason not to implement them.

He loses hp on his normal attacks and it’s 4.5% every time, this is to proc his passive and new crit set if you go for that and he heals back 30% hp with his charge attack, but you need to stay low hp for his other passive to proc to deal more charge attack dmg, doesn’t go lower than 50% hp btw
So basically, he's the Cryo Catalyst version of Hu Tao

And now that there will be 8 characters when a new fontaine character will be placed on standard plus the weapons, your chance of getting that character is literally 5.88% if you get a 5 star.
I really wanted him until I realized I have other 5 star cryo characters that I don't use.

@@DcopyninjaYT no, 90 is hard pitty meaning you're always guaranteed a character but if you lose a 50/50 your next event banner will always give you the character regardless of how many pulls it took.

@@DcopyninjaYT Yes, you will get the featured character from the banner you wished. Also 90 is the hard pity, if you are lucky, you can get it starting from 70+ wish.
