if you play with a mouse press the mouse wheel. that resets the camera position to be behind you.. learned that after maining her for 3 months and now after about a year of maining her it's muscle memory

You kill a lone hilichurl but in the process you burn half of the forest, 27 wild animals, an adventurer guild member hiding in the bushes, a nearby village, night turns into day and Celestia is prolly wondering what the hell is going on down there and it's just Diluc main doing daily commissions.

from 1.0 till 4.2, Mona will always be my favorite burst animation. The starry skies looks so beautifull, but as hydro lovers they did good animation too

Every Archon gets a Glow in some part of their body. Not just Nahida. Since doesn't have long hair they gave her a cape. For example Raiden, Zhongli and Venty it's their hair. Raiden's is more obvious is too see. Fun fact Xianyun/Cloud Retainer also gets the cape like thingy if you have her C2 I think.
I just love watching their bursts! Each one is so unique and beautiful. I wish some lasted longer though but that probably wouldn’t be good for combat.
nahida never stop awing me with her burst. ayato was beautiful, it look like behind there was a bunch of shooting stars, im pretty sure we all saw the fan made rainden burst the the giant whole with purple skeleton hand and we all want that lol. zhongli casually ripping a whole in the sky and i never realise how big venti burst was
A lot of the newer elemental bursts don’t have smooth build up animations anymore. Compare Diluc to Ayato and you’ll notice how Diluc lifts his blade and then swings it forward creating build up and then impact, while Ayato skips those frames and immediately has the sword in his arms. There are a few exceptions though like Dehya and Wriothesley (Dehya more than Wriothesley but nevertheless). They look better sure, but they don’t *feel* better
Oh ur right, also w nahida's and neuvillette's right after diluc: Both of the immediately teleport into the air. I assume it has to do with the character and what burst animation makes sense for them canonically bcs the characters w the smooth wind up usually fight physically which is why they have real movements while non-fighters' (canonically again) animations are just supposed look majestic, cool, cute etc.; whatever fits the character vibe (w exception of course). But that's just a theory- a game theory, thanks for reading.
Diluc's is meant to feel climatic and focuses on the weight of the claymore while ayato's is meant to have the the feel of a really fast and precise strike and it also just fits their character. Its also very specific to ayato a lot of them still have build up and payoff like ayaka,niliou,kazuha,etc If you prefer one over the other thats just personal preference TLDR -there ment to focus on the characters personalities
I love burst animations that have more character but Ayato's burst is just so pretty to me. Rain falling over a pond with flowers in it, so elegant. It suits him so much 🫶

I started playing genshin this year (2024) january and was very mesmerised by Kazuha and Nahida’s burst when I watch this video. At that point, I was still doing mondstadt. It’s now april and I’m happy to get both of them together with Diluc and Neuvilette :D
