I feel like you're misremembering. In the first place, Rudeus had no intention of making a company; he wanted Linia to have a reasonable chance of paying off her debt to him, but her only particularly marketable skill was her charisma, so he had the vague idea of using her to draw in extra bodies to run odd jobs for Orsted, for which they (and by extension Linia) would be paid. His only _actual_ intention with bringing Aisha in, in the first place, was to hold Linia's leash and make sure the latter's god-awful business sense didn't manage to fritter away all of her startup funds in the few weeks while Rudeus would be away on a job. Rudeus was more surprised than anyone when he came back and found that Aisha had somehow turned it into a proper company in the meantime. Moreover, Aisha herself asked to be allowed to keep her position, with Rudeus mentally noting that even with her obvious talent, he wouldn't be comfortable with forcing Aisha to do the job against her will. So while Rudeus did benefit from the way things turned out, I don't think it's right to pin all or even most of the blame on him.
The way I see Aisha’s situation is the same as Rudeus being sent to tutor Eris. They are both gifted children who needed special schooling in the form of jobs to keep them out of trouble. Aisha had a gift for business that Rudeus wanted to grow and flaws in terms of “empathy and patience with others”. So like Paul taught Rudeus how to not rely on people emotionally with Silphy, Rudy taught Aisha how to chill with people (still in progress).
Makes sense, but I do see Andrew's point. Rudy's view on Aisha is warped with the expectations and capability he's had when he was at her age, with an even higher regard for her than even himself, especially since I do believe Rudy still has his own inferiority complex at this point in the story. Made worse that he already had put Aisha on a pedestal, without actually meaning/realizing it himself. Also that Aisha, I believe, will not respond favorably to any actions that will treat her as a child, just like what happened with her reaction to the entrance exam situation, volumes ago. It's just unfortunate that Lilia and Rudy may have received ample intervention with how to raise Aisha if only Zenith is conscious and is able to communicate or maybe even if Paul is still alive with all the experiences he's had with dealing with a "genius" son. But it's all wishful thinking at the end of the day.

Both due to the pressure put on them by their family and their friends because they all see them as geniuses. Rudy’ future self is such a case without a true purpose (other than the unattainable goal of fighting the Man God) he went insane.
I have a theory I think the reason why slyphy has issues getting pregnant maybe because she’s a hybrid between elf’s and humans it’s the same concept as mules and ligers being sterile because of their parents different genetics Elf’s and humans are very similar so its probably close enough that the children created aren’t sterile but far enough that it causes issues in conception

Yes putting that much on a young teen ager is not the norm. Ieshia did not want to go to school she wanted to have a chance to shine and a chance to fail! It was very much a trade school type of approach where it is mostly hands on training. She did not have to front the money and their was no pressure for her not to fail or to have to suceed! I do not see him as taking advantage of her at all. He is giving her a chance to shine and to expand her world view. It was a challenge for her. You can not let a genius with drive and self discipline, creativity, drive and ambition just rot away being a made! My IQ was tested twice in elementary school and middle school. I tested 168 the first time and 182 the second time. I had ADHD and was bored as hell in school and got into a lot of trouble in spite of having perfect grades. I was bored out of my mind! In elementary school I got sent to the library as punishment for getting into trouble. I was great as an assistant librarian it was fun not punishment. Then I found a room full of old technology that was broken. Old science equipment, old audio and visual equipment. I was suppossed to clean up the room full of misfit technology. Instead I taught myself electronics and mechanical repair and fixed a room full of equipment. The things that where beyound repair I used to make new equipment for my own experiments! I looked forward to getting in trouble so I could keep this adventure going. In middle school back to normal classes. The school formed a gifted and talented program and it was the best thing that happened to me! 6th grade was boring but 7th and 8th in the GIFTED and Talented Program saved me! I moved to a different place for High School and I was so bored and while I got great grades I got into so much trouble because I was so bored! I joined a gang and was fighting ever other day, going out to clubs in high school, shop lifting, and running with some pretty hard people because I was bored. I had to lie to my friend group about my grades! I always did best when I was in over my head! I need a challenge all the time. Ieshia is the type that starts a tech company takes it to a billion dollar business then sells it and starts over in a totaly different field. Why? Once she has mastered a thing she get's bored with it and needs something new to challenge her. Redues has adventures and challenges that are constantly changng and pushing him. A maid has an easy life by comparison. She has not found herself yet but she is on her way! She is a lot like her big brother in many ways but lacks a standout skill like magic or swordsmanship her mind and personality are her talents and gifts and wepons but she does not know this yet!
It's ok to ask so much of Aisha, she needs the mental challange, she is a genius as we all know, and due to the nature of how she was raised she wouldn't have developed as a normal child, so there is no "robbing her of her childhood" argument, since Lilia raised her to be a maid and potentially marry her half brother.

58:55 I interpreted this differently when I read it, about the “why he joined Orsted in the first place, and he shouldn’t lose sight of what mattered”, to me this implied that Rudeus was going to put his family over Orsted’s problems, because THAT is what matters the most in the end, and not the other way around. So it wouldn’t make sense to help Orsted if he’s going to neglect his family right now.

Also, just today I have met a guy cosplaying Ferdinand. We had so much fun discussing Ascendance and I am so hyped haha. I think it's a great novel as well. Altought I am not that far into it as with MT (just finished vol. 25)
Spoiler (im a WN reader) Because of the battle, this novel is my favorite out of every volume. The culmination of all of Rudy's training and experience leading to him absolutely BODYING the Temple Knights like pro mma fighter going up against a group of toddlers was hilarious upon my first read, only to learn they were the strongest knights in the kingdom as a cherry on top was SO satisfying. It in my not so humble opinion, was a better moment than the final battle of the series.

The way I see Aisha is she is a natural born genius surround by extremely competent and gifted adults her entire life. Then she is thrust upon the real world where adults aren’t like the ones she’s used to. So she’s questioning everything about what it means to be an adult. Another way to see it is Aisha is seto kaiba and the mercenary band is her Joey wheeler.
I just wonder what should Rudeus do regarding Aisha? Tell her to stop being in the band and then she would still cling on to Rudeus? Should Rudeus just force her to find her own path
