@Eye Patch Guy how is that him being a mmg fan. Assumption can't be spelled without ass my friend and that's what you are doing. From what I got is until a sniper noob or assault takes a shot at the mmg guy and it made me think of how I play as assault and how I look for proned snipers and mmg players and take shots at em and they can't find me . But then again who knows now these days. Even the ok sign is racist and demeaning so who knows what people feel these days.

Can I just say that even with all the settings on low this game looks great?
I got BF3 on PC recently. I played it on PS3 before. Honestly, I was surprised except for the sharpness, and FPS, the difference wasn't that much. I played on ultra by the way...
The fact that it's even possible in this game to take a sprint with a machine gun like that and straight after fire accurately from the hip without tumbling over is astonishing.
Ardicer Gaming mg 42 only weighs 25 lbs.
I have a g3 that weighs about 12 loaded. I can hold it out with one hand and shoot it like a pistol, half ass using the irons.
Now this is difficult(the g3 is a relatively heavy rifle), but I am a relatively small dude.
But running around with a mg 42 wouldn’t be particularly difficult imo beyond not having a decent hand hold for your left hand.
I can even see it being possible to shoulder fire it by a bigger guy. I could prolly do it but I’d be shaking like a leaf after a couple shots.

Man MMGs are so OP that you have to stand still to properly shoot one. The only reason people hate MMGs is that you can't just press sprint forward and A+D dodge all the low firerate weapons with the fast movement of SMGs or get a free flank from the side because someone is actually staying still and holding an angle instead of staring at the frontline.

I love my MMGs. :) And proud! Been using LMGs (and now MMGs) from the very start of the Battlefield series. Just love how they play. Also, I'm not good enough to run around shooting people, better to defend a flag and wait for people to come to me. :) If that makes me a "sweatlord" (never heard of the term before), then I have no problem with that.

I'm an MMG sweatlord. I love holding a position, creating no-go zones for enemy players, etc. I've got most of the MMGs fully Mastered, along with getting most of the tags that go along with them.
