i used the ironsight on half of my loadouts.For me some of the scopes are just rubbish,and i love the more natural version of the weapons anyway.That was when i still played the game,but for 2 month now i havent done that.Had enough of the unbalanced,bugy bulls**t that game has..Counter strike 1.6 had netter balancing in 2000
if you wanted to be a “german infantry men” why didn’t you use the K98k edit: thanks for likes and great replies, but i still don’t think the m95 would be the best fit, k98 was standard issue and if your going off historical accuracy then definitely the k98.
I'm mainly on iron sights, too. Unlike in previous games, BFV reflex sights aren't even better choices on a lot of guns. Iron sights always give you greater magnification (except actual scopes of course ). This is a really welcome new feature in my book, as with iron sights all weapons feel much more distinct from one another, too. :)
Debott I actually find it interesting too, the design of the iron sights on each gun. They give it something of a personality. I thrash with the Gewer43 because the iron sight is like a pin and makes it very easy to see exactly where the round is going to land, even with greater distance shots.
I miss the Liu so much. By far my favourite BF1 gun, and one I would be happy to see reused as a Tides of War reward (better a copy-paste gun than another facepaint, IMO). I've been playing ironsights only with my Kar 98 and it's been quite a fresh way of playing Recon, all your tactics subtly change when you can't rely on seeing everything at range anymore. Definitely recommend trying it out.
i love this game i could spend hours playing bf5 and not get bored tbh the maps are huge and beautifully detailed and there's something so satisfying about getting a long range head shot over a field with a sniper rifle lol .. its brilliant
There was one match, on 2042, this guy was a fkn sniping LEGEND. He was playing the operator with the ghilie suit. No scope sniping people from across the map. He went like 32-2 because he could see other snipers, but they could never see him.
I was just checking this video to see if at least dice tryed to capture the balance of ww2 and i see in the description that jackfrags is just roleplaying and there is no fucking rifleman class, man fuck this bullshit, dice are lazy as fuck, they spent their fucking budget in making graphics designers draw beautifull maps based around ww2 but they aren't making a ww2 game, it's just the motherfucking setting of this generic battlefield 3 variation, holy shit dice you never fail to dissapoint me
One of the more enjoyable videos of in-game commentary of BF5 that I've seen in a while. Awesome long-distance headshots, flick shots, duck dive and dance, collateral kills, outrunning bombing Stukas, close scrapes with enemies, even a knife kill. What more could you ask for in a JF video?
love that you did this! in both BF1 and BFV I went for the "stereotypical" Allied infantry load out. Always use the Lee Enfield as my primary and 1911 as my secondary.
Really like this type of game play. you can really see your skill clearly and i would like to see more of that RAW jackfrags skill leaking through the difficult situation
Ironsights on bolt action rifles always been one of the most satisfying things in shooter games when it is about a landing headshots. I wish I have such a precision as U Jack.
I really like BFV. I'm not enough of a hardcore player for HLL, yet I very much enjoy that BFV is that tad more hardcore than BF1. It's the perfect inbetween for me. ^^
BF1 had the most hardcore "Hardcore mode" out of any Battlefield game... No HUD, no markers to denote teams, you had to memorize faction uniforms and vehicles....

Back when the game was still new and the scope glint was intense regardless of scope, I first started out recon using either the iron sights or aperture sight simply because I didn't want to give myself away and got a surprising amount of mileage for a while. The times 2 of the aperture ended up being more effective than you would think. I definitely agree that there's just something really satisfying about nailing a far shot with iron sights.
The Enfield, Carcano, and DeLisle are the best bolt-actions to use with ironsights in game. The Enfield even uses it's signature "Mad Minute Method" as an animation to reload.

I love playing as a rifleman in BFV, there is some challenge to it when you start but once you got the rifle you use down it is fun as hell. Sniping some across the map with a sniper that doesn’t have a scope is just gold!

M.95 is my Favourite sniper rifle in this game! In BF1 it was very enjoyable and had good Iron sights, but the 98 was my favourite. It’s a much better rifle in BFV this time around.
Best iron sight rifle in my opinion is the Enfield because it is loaded five bullets at a Tim and u don’t need to zoom out and it’s better for pushing (better rate of fire)
The irons are hard to use in my opinion on the Enfield because they take up too much space either side so I can't track targets and hen they're running

My only thought is Kar98k was used more often as a scoped rifle and M95 more of a rifleman issued weapon.

I prefer irons, but some weapons just work so much better with alternative sights, especially high RoF weapons.

Yeah i loved the liu so cool it could be semi auto and a straight pull bolt action in one gun made it very effective for closer and long ranges
