Misspelling common words often allows you to get away with trademarking a descriptive common word sound-alike name. You will tend to have issues with getting a trademark for common words when they are descriptive of your product/service as you have to prove that your usage of the word is distinct and recognizable from the common meaning.
thewiseturtle I had drawn my parents it wasn't just scribbles. From what I was told everyone was really surprised. I also started walking at 10 months and then running at 11. In case that has anything to do with it.
Loved this video, really cool. Like the way the pen just made it pop! To get a stray hair off a watercolour, it's easier to do this when the paint has dried... just carry on regardless, and simply brush it off later when it's dry. Get a hair off as soon as you can if you are using oils or acrylics though, or you will never get it off! :)
Peter........if you have need of a psychologist to help you with your title naming problem.....we are here to help you through this phase of your life. Just know that. Always.
Brand names and copyrighted names are often misspelled intentionally so that their names are not mistaken for something else when googling it. For example, the bands CHVRCHES and PVRIS have Vs in the place of Us or As so that when you google their band you wouldn't just get a bunch of search results for actual churches or the city Paris.
I think they call it aquabord because there's already a product called aquaboard. I googled aquaboard looking for some of this and could only find stuff for use in Bathrooms.
I just recently discovered this trick a few moths ago but If you tape down the watercolor paper onto a drawing board (make sure it's pulled taught if that makes sense) or even the table (sometimes I'll just tape it to the cardboard backing of a sketchbook) it can help prevent the paper from warping with the water, not completely but it helps. PS It also gives the piece a nice white border. :) Great video
Peter, Get a roll of masking tape and a smooth piece of Masonite or Plexiglas (note spelling glas) and tape your paper to it. I like to put a 1/4 " border around the whole piece of paper. Make sure you have an idea of how big you want your paintings and add an inch or two.
Have you ever tried to do a frottage themed project? Like when you place a piece of paper on something and rub it with charcoal or something to get the outline/shape of the object. And then making a picture out of it? Seems right up your abstract alley, thought you'd enjoy.
ohh mann peter, du bist einfach so sympathisch! einer der authentischsten youtuber, die es momentan gibt, würde ich sagen :) now translate that, peter! "arsch" is not enough, to proove us your excelling knowledge of german ☝ anyways, thanks for the video as always :)
Chilopoda freut sich wie ein Schnitzel I see a big brain that has been trapped inside a bubble for centuries, to the point where foliage is growing all around it
i love you ! can't wait for your video everyday ! i wake up in the morning like WHERE'S A NEW PETER'S VIDEO GIMME A VIDEO ;) sicklove, sorry, with celebrity comes the weirdest fanatics :):)
You should try watercolor ground on canvas sometime! I'm itching to try that myself. After watching some videos on that.I hate not having money for art supplies. I admit, I'd been in 'art burnout' mode the last week. But watching your videos with your alter ego, Peter Paints got me wanting to art again.
the problem is that i turn my volume full blast for this gold narration and then i forget and play a song and it's like the THX blast but automatically wHY PETER
hey peter. if u want to have your paper not buckle youtube how to stretch your watercolor paper. u kind of just use masking tape around the borders of the paper. and it helps alot with the buckle problem
The way he talks feels like he just has so much wisdom in his brain and knows about stuff we don't generally understand or even know they exist. His "ramblings" make you kinda forget about other things and are so much more intelligent than they seem on the surface.Detached from reality almost, but in the best possible way.
Can u do a watercolour real-time please? I never know how to get nice effects with it, need help. And I find the trouble is duno how it will finish. Thanks. Ur amaze
Aquaboard is actually more clay like which allows you to scrap off a little of the surface to get white back. At least, from what I read. Thinking of trying some down the road for my watercolors and gouache.
Hey Peter I was at an art museum today and one of the artists there made me think of you and some of your pen and ink drawings! The artist was Jim Woodrings. He used a super giant sized fountain pen (which was also on display!!) Theres even some videos of him drawing with it on youtube. Anyways it was pretty neato.
I believe the reason to misspelling things like easyklean or aquabord is because it separates it from the norm. It's more distinguished and doesn't seem like a generic product. Catches the eye and does exactly what you said; it builds the brand.
excellent watercolour paints (mission gold and and black velvet brushs) I have both and that set of paints are expensive, what a great gift a viewer sent you
I really like the organic and linear aspects to your art, your imagination is amazing, if we could all take a walk in your brain, well that would be weird, lol probably messy, anyways, I enjoy hearing your thoughts with the art, you are one of a kind, and I don't want to say the next bob ross, because, you are so much more than that, but you have reinvented art, imagination, and creativity, in a humble natured way, that I think we can relate to, even those who are not artists, I am an artist, would love to someday have a pinch of your talent! cheers!
I love your videos, keep up the good work. your videos are a peaceful and very enjoyable part of my day. I still havent gained enough courage to draw or make art in anyway and I have heard you talk about that whole ordeal pretty in depth in videos but yeah one day. your an inspiration.
Hah, i thought you had some weird thing going on with this video but I forgot to close another tab with one of your videos so there were two of you talking.
Okay sorry so weird but the ad before this video was saying woo ahh ooh woo ahh and stuff just like the title of the vid I was a little freaked youtube stop spying on me
I didn't do it, the awesome people in the Peter Draws community helped with it! Anyone can help out here: ua-cam.com/users/timedtext_cs_panel?tab=2&c=UCGtGTAa-xarr2HrEKRgRUHQ
Ah yes, the AquaBord. Because waterboard doesn't sound quite as fun.
I hear a carrot can make a great pen.
thewiseturtle I did! I was ecstatic.

I appreciate your use of colors; not saying your old doodles are less good, but just that your new doodles are pretty swell.
The reason that people misspell things in names is so that they a can copyright the name
you're saying butt in german :^)
TZtenzin ArtTV Ye or just ash which means literally fire dust.
Guimilug the word is "Asche"
EvilCatsOfDoom my bad lol
The title sounds like someone who has stepped on a lego and is trying their best not to use any curse words
Can you please make a hour long video of you saying the word 'Drawing'.
Watching at the airport - moments after uploaded - while waiting to board!!
please give us another content free podcast peter im dying over here
Peter is a good example to why there is no reason to do drugs. You can just be yourself and be oddly wierd in a good way.
Who else low key can't draw or paint but watches Peter's videos for the humour
"unseeable. unforseeable. invisible! thats the word." the word you looking for is unnoticeable"
I honestly believe that Peter could essentially be the next Bob Ross.
How old were you when you first starting drawing?
thewiseturtle i started drawing when i was about a year old lol
thewiseturtle I had drawn my parents it wasn't just scribbles. From what I was told everyone was really surprised. I also started walking at 10 months and then running at 11. In case that has anything to do with it.
i think i remember him saying he started in high school
yeah
Emily Vincent everyone starts drawing with 0-1 year
You can paint on the aquabord and then scrape back to the white with a tool and effectively negative sculpt on the surface of the watercolour!
Loved this video, really cool. Like the way the pen just made it pop!

What even are Peter's video titles anymore?
Peter........if you have need of a psychologist to help you with your title naming problem.....we are here to help you through this phase of your life. Just know that. Always.
I think these things are often misspelled to make the name trademarkable :)
Peter, you're getting a little carried away with your titles :)
This pice makes me happy, and so do you. Thanks Peter
Brand names and copyrighted names are often misspelled intentionally so that their names are not mistaken for something else when googling it. where are you coming up with your title names.
I love them
not as much as I love your voice though it's very calming
How many times did he say aquaboard someone please count
I'll do a drinking game and see how it goes
Digitazz 13 times. You are welcome. What am I doing with my life.
I counted 16 times he said it and also spelled it once. I didn't see or hear or smell him smell it, though - not once!
I don't know, I passed out
It's possible the misspellings are to avoid copyright? Because AquaBoard sounds like it would be brand of Surf of Boogie board.
the titles are getting better and better
I think they call it aquabord because there's already a product called aquaboard. I googled aquaboard looking for some of this and could only find stuff for use in Bathrooms.

companies must spell their brand names differently because you cannot copyright a word.
Have you ever tried to do a frottage themed project? Like when you place a piece of paper on something and rub it with charcoal or something to get the outline/shape of the object. And then making a picture out of it? Seems right up your abstract alley, thought you'd enjoy.
got here early wITHOUT a notification hA i feel accomplished, hello there Peter and my fellow art appreciators
you can't trademark every generic term, at some places you can't legally do it. I think that's why it's misspelled
I watch your videos before I go to sleep.Somehow between your voice and the art = calm enough to make me sleep.
I like to believe brands spell things wrong because search engine optimisation.
Draw with a flower stem and ink/watercolours, it's pretty cool
Every time i watch one of your videos i feel relaxed asf :D Nice Drawing peter!
My cats' hairs get in my paint, also in my nail polish
Even in my ramen noodles
Cat hair is Nature's most persistent critic.
Peter used color and a lot of it and left no white or black, the amazing Peter has done something against the laws that don't exist!
ohh mann peter, du bist einfach so sympathisch! einer der authentischsten youtuber, die es momentan gibt, würde ich sagen :)
now translate that, peter! "arsch" is not enough, to proove us your excelling knowledge of german ☝
anyways, thanks for the video as always :)
This reminds me, I still need to use my watercolor pencils...

Chilopoda freut sich wie ein Schnitzel I see a big brain that has been trapped inside a bubble for centuries, to the point where foliage is growing all around it
Here's the kinda thing I was painting on today: amzn.to/2oWc9a1
But I think they were only like 4 or 5 dollars at the store where I found them.

Peter Draws hello. I'm the redditor trying to decipher eggmode
"Clay coated hardboard panel comparable to watercolor paper". That's a very strange statement.
thewiseturtle go on reddit and find my username /u/nightstalker117. message me to show you what my friend found.
anybody else love this fools videos?
dude that arches paper is expensive
Peter it's because you can't copyright an English word...
thewiseturtle you're just every where aren't you
Well the FineBrothers tried.
i love you ! can't wait for your video everyday ! i wake up in the morning like WHERE'S A NEW PETER'S VIDEO GIMME A VIDEO ;) sicklove, sorry, with celebrity comes the weirdest fanatics :):)

Did you know that the proper term for the way water colour paint buckles/ warps paper is "cockle/cockling"?
are you okay?
I believe the reason to misspelling things like easyklean or aquabord is because it separates it from the norm. It's more distinguished and doesn't seem like a generic product. Catches the eye and does exactly what you said; it builds the brand.

The paint going into the water reminds me of the new Blink-182 music videos.
Do more with watercolor please! I freaking love this dreamy, swirly dripperdiedrop wet paint.
Great video and things are probably spelt wrong so often because of trademarking
Have you considered illustrating a comic book or a graphic novel?
The most funny thing I have watched in a while!! Could not stop laughing! :-D
I love your videos, keep up the good work. your videos are a peaceful and very enjoyable part of my day. I still havent gained enough courage to draw or make art in anyway and I have heard you talk about that whole ordeal pretty in depth in videos but yeah one day. your an inspiration.

I'm supposed to be doing my online school. Thanks Peter
Hey Peter
What would happen if you incorporate water color and inky glow?
Some company names are spelt weird because the name they want might already be copyrighted.
i reeally like those watercolor and pen paintingdrawings! it looks stellar
Okay sorry so weird but the ad before this video was saying woo ahh ooh woo ahh and stuff just like the title of the vid I was a little freaked youtube stop spying on me
