This DB-1 Distortion/Boost Pedal Kit by Next Gen Musical Ltd. is a boost pedal at its core that can also be made into a 70's style distortion pedal. It includes the instructions and parts for both configurations, as well as some advanced distortion modding discussion to help you better understand certain parts of the circuit and how to modify them to your needs. The circuit was originally designed by Tom Freeman of Tom Freeman Audio Effects, a Canadian pedal maker.

Wait until you hear it with a Nanolog Device replacing the clipping diodes. Warm tube-like dynamics for days! Full video demo of that coming in a few weeks.

@@NextGenGuitars been curious about those! Along with telling a bunch of friends about this pedal when you guys were still hammering out the details, I was kinda stoked about those diodes as well. Been looking at modding a boss ds1, but not sure which way to go. Those could be a fun thing to try!
