HOW TO Disassemble A Washing Machine To Salvage Parts [WMTeardown Part 1/3]
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 сер 2017
- We open a broken washing machine to recover all the components that can be reused for future projects. This is Part 1 of a 2 parts project: This part (Part 1) is all about the disassembly of our washing machine (HOW TO), that is where to start the teardown process, what are the different steps and tricks to use, what tools are required in order to maximize the chances of recovering all parts and components intact!
Note: One piece of advice, drain the washing machine BEFORE starting disassembling the washing machine (I forgot, but it did bring a nice element of coloration in the video): this will keep your working area clean and save you some mess
Note: Timelapse of the video is available at: • Washing Machine Disass...
► YOU WILL NEED
- Pliers
- Screwdriver with several drivers (including possibly Torx)
- Set of wrenches
► DISCLAIMER
Always make sure you operate in a safe and secure manner.
For this project this means, only work around electric appliances if you know what you are doing

I don't know why I enjoy such videos.
You skipped straight past the exact reason why im here. The part where you take the cover off the front control panel.
I'm thinking about dismantling my front load washer, because the control board is discontinued, nobody sells the part anymore, and my trolley is too crappy to move the super heavy washer up the stairs and out, so yeah, I probably have to take it apart !
If you manage to remove the concrete counterweight, you should be able to move a lot easier. Good luck!
nice
It was yes
Amazing guy!!
Sure am
Now assemble it!
I came here to see from where my pump has f11 error and still throw out many carpet small textile "hair".
Dammit I've put a small carpet like" hair syntetic textile "and got into small textile pieces .cleaned every pipe and pump .now I know from where they come from .in between the big buckets behind the rotative one .now I must take out the down pipe and try to remove the remaining stuff and clean it
Good luck!
Money Laundry :D
Precisely
What is the blue liquid that leaked out?
Detergent leftovers trapped in the tub
great ! but the washing machine is not as high-tech as I thought
Pump, heat, turn, drain, that is pretty much it
What brand is this machine, can you help please?
I'm sorry but cannot remember
last part there seems to be a bearing there he could have took off too.
Indeed
Can you have a explanation here in the comments how you do it and what is their purpose?

@@custodiolyviennegracel.7105 Sure, see "How Does A Washing Machine Work?" at: ua-cam.com/video/-g4Qs3zNrsE/v-deo.html
If your machine is faulty do it @ home..
@@sasankthapa4728 Yes
I want to bowl for fire pit.
Nice!
hey man it seem you don’t know how to disassemble these things the right ways.
Can
Ok where's your video then?
Thanks for this! I came here wondering, "how hard would it be to take our newly-bought (used) washing machine apart, so it doesn't smell so bad?"
Answer: massive pain in the ass.
doh!
I loved all the middle fingers. And that's some serious technicolor water coming out of there. It also looks like the entire back of the drum was covered in mold? Or was that something else?
Anyway. Maybe I can just knock my washer on its back and fill it with bleach...
The back is covered with a dough-like material made of dirt / small fibers / detergent. I think this is the way they make kids PlayDough
heheheh yummmyyyy
Same reason I searched for and watched this...
The front loaders are a pain in the a$$, yes, but a drill, a few T-spannars and a hammer, and it can be done within an hour. You can also scrap the parts.
If you have an Axel grinder, you can cut the Megatron to get some copper.
